Typing of the Dead: Overkill just arrived (very unexpectedly) on the Steam store, which means PC players can now suffer like G did.
Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but who the hell is "G" and why is he suffering?
it's a classic line from House of the Dead 2 (on which Typing of the Dead is based on, that is, Typing of the Dead is a modified version of House of the Dead 2, like this one is to House of the Dead Overkill)

Still waiting for someone to mod Left 4 Dead into a typing game. Just sayin'.
That'll be a fair bit harder considering that HOTD was a rail shooter, while L4D is, well, considerably less restrictive. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see one, but it's just not a realistic prospect.

Ok, so I just got this from Steam. The game is not running, but that is a matter I am trying to sort out (drivers, blah blah).

Since I have not yet been able to play it, the question is, can I modify the pool of words (dictionaries) the game uses? I'd like to make it easier (shorter words), repetitive key strokes (like "ASD ASD ASD", or clean up the language a bit (for my kids to use it)

Steam tech support is silent!
