Facepalm. Just...facepalm. This is one of the most innocent (if rather antagonising) comments you can find on the internet. There are no connotations to it at all, it is simply intended to annoy.

Fox. Slow news day much?
Fox didn't even say it was racist... some black guy did. And slow news day... well, it IS Labor Day...
Thank you for pointing this out. Fox isn't crying foul here it's the local NAACP President for that area crying foul. So if you want to complain about this let's get to the point that it's people trying to take something and turn it racial for their benefit. It's a never ending cycle and people like that NAACP President use these harmless events to grab fame, incite issues when none exist, and thus they continue a stupid circle.

I once put a thread up here as a experiment. It was a historical piece about famous African Americans through out American history and included some interesting facts about historical black figures who helped shaped our nation. It was immediately racist simply because Glen Beck was doing it. Now I don't like Glen he's a false libertarian and I hate the image he spreads about our party but the piece in noway had to do with anything political and contained no racial hatred.

I also don't care much for Fox news but I watched the video, and they simple reported on the story without giving an opinion expect that the phrase wasn't intended as racist but simply an Internet thing. Now I'm wondering how many people came into the thread saw the video was from Fox and simply came in to bash the Fox?

FOX News did a good job reporting on these parents who confuse poor sportsmanship with racism.

I don't see this as a big deal.

Good job FOX News.
you think that is poor sportsmanship?

i'd hate to see you at some of the games i've been too/seen...

OT: i am very very sick and tired of non whites calling "RACIST!" on fucking everything, (this is more from an IRL approach, rather than what is seen online) it is getting quite old very very fast, and the pandering to it needs to stop, as that in itself is racist when you are even allowing this to hold it's own against shit that is actually racist.

still, funny news is funny, and surprisingly fox news actually didn't immediately claim "BAHH VIDEO GAMES BROUGHTZ THIS ONZZZ" or something absurd, they actually urban dictionary'd it...they must have an intern there with half a brain

And in other news a shadowy figure was caught walking out of a crime scene late last night. Eye witnesses say that the figure is known as Brandon.

Urban dictionary reports that this Brandon fellow is "The most amazing person alive", "Has a huge dick", and "Is a godly man that carries himself with pride and dignity and loves only one woman. His sexual prowis is legendary and craved by women near and far but experienced by very few."

Clearly this suspect is very dangerous and local law enforcement is taking him very seriously.

Alright everyone, THIS IS NOT FOX NEWS, as much as I like to rag on them. This is the local television broadcast of WJW, the local Fox affiliate in Cleveland, OH. Fox and Fox News have nothing to do with this. There are plenty of stupid things happening on local news broadcasts all the time.

Just a combination of political correctness, need for controversy and sheer bloody minded silliness. Sadly a quite popular combination these days for major "news" outlets...

It's Faux Noise. They go out of their way to make everything they report as sensational and BS-ridden as possible. This was established a long time ago in a court case where they bragged about it.

That said, there's not an ounce of racism in that phrase. A ton of stupidity, sure, but no racism.

Also, go unreadable captcha!

Isn't that just a meme? I've noticed a few people saying it.
I mean...it's stupid, but it's not racist.

people can have any reason at all to call something racist wether they're really sensitive or just wanna cause a stir. How can you even compare racism into a simple internet meme phrase? Just stupid people and even more stupid people casting this as a news segment.

Seriously? How do you find anything related to race in this? Why is Fox not from the internet and always so dumb? Its so depressing to see people take offense out of nothing.

For discussion value, how hard did you laugh?
lol HAHAHA wait what ? Has any of these people been on the internet ever?

Okay quick , someone make a sign with trollface.jpg and hold it up at a football game when there's an interception . DO IT DO IT NOW !

Foxs News your trusted news source.

Can anyone tell me the true Fox News line.

Fox News, ???, profit.

Because somehow they're still on the air. But no one knows why. Not even Fox News can explain why Fox News is still going. One of the great unsolvable mysteries eh.

Sometimes no comic or contrived joke can ever replace the power of pure stupidity in generating lulz.
