The guy interviewed in the second clip was jailed for being in the company of someone who was shoplifting DVDs. Shoplifting
itself would in more normal times be a misdemeanor carrying a fine, or some community service. Four months of prison time for merely
being in the vicinity of a shoplifter is plainly excessive, to the point of being insane. It's almost as bizarre as locking someone up for jaywalking.
Don't bother making excuses for these corrupt judges. They aren't worth it.
