Ubisoft down for anyone?

Just bought Anno 2070 off of steam and found that Uplay servers seemed to be down.

Ubisoft Uplay Website seems to be running slow, and according to [link]http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com[/link] is down as well.

Anyone else having a similar problem? I'm really looking forward to playing, and I need to access Uplay or else it wont let me.

If anyone knows a workaround, please inform me.

For discussion, what do you think of Games services such as Uplay, GFWL or Origin as opposed to Steam. Do they annoy you, or do you think they have their own merits over the Steam service?

It's certainly not just you. I am also unable to play a game I just bought off Steam. Seems some of the publishers are not prepared for the Steam Summer Sale.

Saw this workaround on the UPlay forums and it actually worked for me.
Make sure remember me is checked and hit the login button over and over until it lets you log in. Took me about 15 attempts.. but it worked.

Completely off-topic, but this page [http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/downforeveryoneorjustme.com] is the first thing I did after going to that website, and I was not disappointed with the results I got.

On Topic: Yeah, just finished reading that other thread. Boy, it's a good thing Ubisoft believes all of their PC fans are dirty, filthy, thieving pirates, because this is going to endear them to the masses.

Yep, its down.

I switched Uplay to off line and was still able to play From Dust.
