I feel the same way. I am growing extremely tired of how often people complain that one FPS is too similar to another.
They may as well say "I hate [insert mainstream FPS title here] because it's a rip-off of [insert another mainstream FPS title here]... they both have... guns!

Not to mention the latest gripe people seem to have with BFBC's Vietnam DLC. They're main complaint is that 'it's obviously a rip-off of Black Ops hurrhurr' when in all actuality Battlefield did Vietnam first. But am I sitting here saying "Oh, oh, look'it who did it first!"? No, because I don't think any FPS game has sole rights to use a historic moment in humanity's past, period.
