I wouldn't worry about it. Raikou, being the cheap bastard that he is, also knows roar, which allows him to escape as it makes your pokémon flee. Oh, and if you change away from the pokémon that used mean look, Raikou can flee again.Leviathan_ said:

My own pokémon fail, however, would be failing to beat the elite 4 because I decided to make my electivire use earthquake against Lance's Gyarados.
Thoughts - "Electivire's an electric pokémon, it'll destroy Gyarados. Any electric move should work. Don't use earthquake"

in quite a few games ill be running and for some god unknown reason i will run right by a door without seeing it, usually missing a big item that i will need in the next half hour to progress, so i end up battling, kicking ass the HARD way without said item, and end up getting to a part where i can't jump high enough or need that item so i end up wasting an hour or so in that area trying to glitch jump or something to the next area, to no avail i end up raging and looking up online and it says "use *item* here.....WTF i have never seen that item before?!" so i end up backtracking those 20-30 minutes to find that door with the item sitting right inside and i end up very pissed off i just wasted lik an hour or so on missing that door.
People are forgetting that there's soundproof pokemons unaffected by roar so he could very well just prepare for a fight versus raikou

I don't recall which world was or if it was with the boy or the girl. Anyway, there was this room with 2 giant black doors (you get in the room through one of them) and 3 freaking fast plataforms on the upper level that lead to a small door.
The correct path is to go through the other giant door since the plataforms are totally skipable with a rocket jet pack you get way later in the game when you have to revisit the planets to search for whatever.
Guess what happened... Yep, I ignored the giant door and keep trying to jump from plataform to plataform. Took me more than a week to realize how dumb I was back then.
