Awesome to the power of 10. I just love the fact that we made half the world play our sports & now half the world can beat us at said sports.

Here's another one from the UK. Seems to be a lot of Yorkshire people on here, i'm originally from West Yorkshire but moved to Devon in September.

Bah I was born in Sheffield and am currently living in Rotherham. As many of you know, it's a Chav-opolis. Anyone who thinks they have it bad, come to Rotherham and change your opinion. Chavs, bakeries and pound shops. >.>
It is a bit grim in Rotherham on the chav side of things isn't it?
I spent 18 years there... :\

A Bristolian here, but without the accent, unfortunately.
So you don't sound like a pirate? Isn't that the point of Bristol? I used to live there (Bedminster, preggo-teen haven) and I found it quite... interesting.

In Brighton now though. I live near Simon Cowell's mom's house, seeing as though no one is interested.

well this looks like fun.

I'm from the loveliest little scumhole you'll run into in the midlands: wellingborough.

Scones to go with your tea to anyone who's actually heard of it
Hehe..I've got a mate who lives there. Try the sarnis on the train station, coz they're lush.

Which part of West Yorkshire: Leeds, Bradford(bradistan), keighley or Bingley?
Originally from Yorkshire, between Huddersfield & Leeds. A small town called Mirfield, I believe one of the three wise men found his present for that kid in my home town. I now live in Alderley Edge with all the posh people, I stick out like a sore thumb with my broad Yorkshire accent.

And to, ahem, 'represent' Glasgow, hello!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go chib someone, drink some tonic wine and watch every episode of Rab C Nesbit ever made, so as to brush up on my Weegie attitude!

I just adore our stereotypes.

'Ello there. I'm from Lincolnshire myself, just below the Yorkshire border. I inhabit the delicious town of Grimsby, famous for our fish.

I'm always taking trips to York though, since my girlfriend goes to University there.
