UK's block on internet pron: what do you think?

Well my initial thought is that you meant to ask my opinion on the impending porn rather that a pron block but in all honesty I dont like this.
I believe that people should be free to decide what they want to access online and shouldn't have someone else's morallity pushed on them.
As for the "Oh think of the children" argument, for one, I don't think internet porn (or pron for that matter) is anywhere near the most toxic of the influences on todays youth. Secondly all this does is further erode perental responsibility, parents should be taking appropriate steps to educate their children, and where neccessary prevent them from accessing truly unpleasant material. As soon as a government steps in and takes responsibility away it gives irresponsilbe parents a free pass.

Yes the rest of the UK must be punished for your poor parenting mr Cameron, and the same goes for all the other parents who can't control there kids.

It won't work and we all know it won't work. I'd rather see an opt-in system, with the parent taking some responsibility rather than relying on the automatic system.
