Team, shmeam. Asura, of Asura's Wrath. Asura is the embodiment of the unstoppable force.
I would call him the immovable object, except that implies that he would stand his ground when being attacked. The immovable object would just stand in place when being attacked with a Jupiter-sized planet. Asura would beat the *&^% out of the planet and rush ahead through the shattered remains.

Leader: Dr Doom. Guy runs a country, is a strategic mastermind and conquered the world twice. He's a great sorcerer as well as a briliant scientist. So yeah, he has a resume.

Heavy Weapons: Samus Aran (Metroid. Super Missles, Power bombs, Screw Attack and a large variety of beam weapons. Surprised Im the first to mention her.

Stealth: Batman. No further explanation needed.

Sniper: I really can only think of 2. And one throws with piss. So Garrus Vakarian (mass effect). A good teamplayer and could double for second in command if not for Batman.

Close Quarters: Alex Mercer (Prototype). This guy basically exists to murder and is nearly indestructible.

Medic: Anders (Dragon Age). When this asshole isn't blowing up churches or complaining about the surpression of mages, he is a very reliable healer and offers a variety of support spells.

Air Support: Bec Noir (Homestuck). Almost feels like cheating for the amount of destruction this guy causes. He can literally obliterate universes.

Tech: Adam Jensen. With the amount of computer systems this guy can break into, and the amount of tech stored inside him, it seems fair.

Wild Card: Dante (Devil May Cry). Incredibly tough to kill, wide variety of weapons and the ability to casually break the laws of physics (within cutscenes)

Restricted myself to 1 character per franchise or comic book company. Mainly to see what I would come up with.

Close Quarters: Either Tryndamere or an Ultralisk. Can't decide.

Medic: The Medic.

Air support: The SD Lucifer from Conflict Freespace.

Tech specialist: Tony Stark.

Tech Support - Oracle Formerly Batgirl and always Barbra Gordon, seemed like a good choice for me. Don't know how useful she'd be for space based missions and, missions against Aliens.

Air Support - Star Fox! An ace pilot trained in a few vehicles but most likely seen in the Arwing.

Medic - Cecil Harvey from Final Fantasy IV. I figure, since he's a paladin, if shit goes horribly wrong he can still fight his way out. I figure he's a great multi-tasker, especially considering his magical affinity.

CQC - Spider-Man. He's freaking Spider-Man! His Spidy-Sense and, heightened speed will keep you from touching him until he punches your nuts or, kicks your face. Also, unlike similar heroes, he can jump up and cling to walls and ceilings to really throw off any attackers.

Stealth - Batman. He's Batman and could have been used for every other category excluding the sniper one.

Heavy Weapons - The Punisher. Like the one above only in bold and caps, HE'S THE FUCKING PUNISHER. The Punisher is a Marvel Super Hero whose power is fucking GUNS (also a military background and extreme survival skills) and the ability to use all kinds of Guns including ones from other planets and dimensions.

Sniper - Green Arrow. I honestly couldn't think of a better one. It was either him or Hawkeye and I don't know how accurate Hawkeye would have been firing a fist from his bow.

Leader - Zordon. I don't see who else could have possibly brought all of these people together and I don't know of anyone else who could get them to work together.

Wild Card - Dark Claw. Have you guys and gals ever heard of Amalgam Comics? Well I'll show you a pic and let you draw conclusions about why Dark Claw is my Wild Card:
