Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Phoenix Wright and Nova Revealed

Huh. I figured this would be bigger news, giving the popularity of the former rather than the latter. Then again, it is a fighting game, and I know they don't have the largest popularity around these parts. Nevertheless, I figured it would be an important thing to share. Yes, two new characters have been revealed for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, none other than Phoenix Wright and Nova.

It's a full-fledged retail improvement on the original Marvel vs Capcom 3. 12 new characters, new stages, various amount of improvements, the works. At least, that's what it is according to Capcom. Think how Street Fighter 4 has more than one version. It's along those similar lines.

Wright looks awesome, Nova slightly less so. I'm a little disappointed that so many of his moves seem cribbed from other characters, but now that I know a little about him I can see he definitely has his own playstyle. Its just very boring and basic compared to most of the other new characters.

Its a new game, in the same vein as Super Street Fighter IV. Bunch of new characters, stages, modes, balancing stuff, etc. An "Updated Re-release", I suppose you could call it.

I remember posting a potential moveset for Wright in Smash Bros. a while back, and this actually looks quite a bit like what I had envisioned him playing like in that game, with the using of evidence, pointing doing stuff, pulling out Maya's magatama, and the judge hammering opponents. Glad they found a way to put him in!
