I LOVE THAT GAME!

Did you check out Zeus: Master of Olympus, by the same company?
I enjoyed this game as well.

(Mechanics allowing you to complete objectives was a bit finicky, but I let that slide in part for the sake of how much fun the game was otherwise.)

No I did not play the Zeus game, though I seriously considered it. I have this little disease called "broke" that is has the known symptom of sporadic game purchasing, whereby I am only allowed infrequent gaming indulgences.

Killer 7

you run by pressing one button and you pick where your going by choosing which path you want then running again. All the enemies are invisible and they can only hurt you by getting close to you and exploding. Makes sense that in '05 not alot of people wanted to play that game. But it had an excellent story and if you didnt really care about the fact that it wasnt a FPS you were in for a real treat.
I have that game. It's one of those games that you have to play because it's just so out of the ordinary.

I never beat it, though. Gets pretty difficult towards the end.

This game was freaking amazing but not widely known. I really wish some one would remake this game using the UT3 engine. Loved the humor and the gameplay. It's great.

Released on the original Xbox, and developed in the UK of all places.
The UK? there are plenty of games developed in the UK.

Anything by Lionhead Studios (Fable, B&W, etc.)
Stronghold series (Firefly has offices in two places in the UK and one in the US, so it seems that they'd do at least some development here)
Creative assembly (Total war series) are based in Sussex, UK.
Rockstar Games, Core Design (Tomb Raider)...

Alright, I'm just being a douchebag now :p. I do see what you're saying thought, even the box-art just makes me think of Japan.

Startopia, a space station sim.

Just look at the box-art... Yeah, it's obscure for a reason.

A Japanese game I stumbled upon by emulator a few years back: Joy Mech Fight.

It's a fighting game for the SNES with the same story as Megaman.

WARNING: PLENTY OF IMAGES BELOW!

I think most of my favourites qualify, including:

I swear to god I'm the only man in the area who knows about this game. It has a fan following, but isn't as famous as some of the other action/RTS games (e.g: Dynasty Warriors). At least everyone I mention it to think's I'm a crackpot.

Before Bungie made Halo, they actually made some pretty decent games. Flawed by it's lack of replayablity, it was short lived fun.

Everyone knows about KKND: Krossfire right? But how many of us have played or owned the original without resorting to Home of the Underdogs, Pirate Bay or wherever?

Before Dawn of War came along, there was Final Liberation. It was a faithful adaptation of Epic 40,000 (now Epic: Armageddon) and shows that Specialist Games (Epic, Inquisitor, Blood Bowl, Necromunda, Gothic etc) had more support back then than they do now...

Image sizes are okay, right?

It's a pretty good shooter. Only thing that bugs me about it is that its sequel is only on PS2.

"Impossible Creatures" on PC
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impossible_Creatures

An RTS where your army is made of hybrid animals that you can make yourself. You can combine animals together, like a lion and a hunchback whale (among many other walking, flying and swimming animals). You can choose which body part from which animals they get and what abilities they can get from the animals that they're made of.

It's just as awesome as it sounds. I barely even actually played the game though, I mostly just sat there and made a whole buttload of funny looking hybrid creatures.
