Umm ok....Freddy Krueger is DLC for Mortal Kombat lol *Video included*

While I wasn't expecting this now that it's been released I'm not surprised. Freddy practically is a Mortal Kombat character. Kills people in extreme, over the top, bloody ways with a variety of trademark kills over his years which have become his finishers.

I'm a little torn about this. As much as I love Freddy, and as awesome as some of those moves are, I don't really feel they're all that Nightmare on Elm Street-ish. The (usually) unique kills were what really drew me to the films, so to see such seemingly generic moves (albeit bloody and awesome) is a little disappointing. Overall, it's awesome, even if a little random/unexpected. And having said that, he completely beats Kratos, I've never been a fan of him.

Now all we need to do is add the rest of the slasher-flick villains. I want the Miner next!

Well, they aren't going to convince anyone to buy the DLC by showing him getting his ass kicked, are they?

OT: That's....and odd choice. Would have stuck with videogame characters if it were me, but....Whatever. That's cool, I guess.
