I have the same problem. When I try to vote the page just resets. Not sure what thats all about, kind of strange.
I've noticed something weird in the MM forums too.
In the Rockstar vs Zynga thread I can't seem to view past page 48, even though on the MM root thread page it sometimes shows there's 51 pages.
It was 48 pages last night, before I went to bed, and the votes are the same too. I can't believe that nobody else has voted or posted a comment in such a popular thread since last night.
Something is awry.
EDIT: That thread has appead again in the "Latest Posts" sidebar on the main page, showing there's 1764 comments, but I can only view page 48 with 1663 comments.

101 comments, but it probably feels a lot higher due to not being able to get in there and see what's been said. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if a quarter or more of those comments are along the lines of "I can't get in and vote/comment"Jamash said:

I wonder if there's some kind of Botnet DOS shenanigans afoot... or maybe the remaining 95% of Farmville fanatics who haven't voted yet got reminded by an in-game pop-up and all tried to vote at once... that'll bork the servers.

Perhaps because of an server overload, users outside the US cant access those forums, and maybe geographically closer users are given priority or are the only people who can connect, not because of favouritism but for some 'technical internet ping' related reason

Yeah, the MM forum is FUBAR. Sometimes I get (what I assume is) the correct current forum status on the main page, but when I click one of the pages that is more recent than last night, I just get an empty Escapist page with a reply box. If I click on something before it just shows the old status, like it's loading a cached version of the page, except I refreshed and emptied my cache and even tried it on several different computers. It's all frozen at the same point in time.
My votes in polls tend to get rejected like that as well (not just the MM ones either), about 4/5 times it'll just reset the page.
Last night I started having the same problem. Oddly enough before I went to bed I was suddenly able to see pages 49, 50. I read them with glee then went to bed. Now on the index page last night it showed more than 48 pages, but now it just shows 48 and the votes are still as they were about 11 hours ago. At least I got to see those 2 missing pages, but to be honest, there wasn't much missed and yes a fair amount were double post or people complaining about trying to post or people unable to post.

It's the lag from the site. It can't handle it. I voted yesterday, and just barely my vote is counting. However, every single post I made yesterday AND today won't show up. If I look in the forum section, it says the R* vs. Zynga has 51 pages, but when I look at it, it only shows 48, and the other pages show no posts.

I doubt it's lag. The rest of the site has been running fine for me, just that section of the forums is borked.
