If jenny died of aids that means she gave it to forrest, and probably the kid, what with all the breastfeeding.

The kid wasn't that damn old, for gods sake, and it takes a long time for aids to kill you, so unless she got it like two days after forrest got all retardojiggy with her, we know why there wasn't a sequel to forrest gump.

Thats why i agree with the above poster that she died of plot-driven convenience syndrome.

Yes, the soundwaves still exist, its just no one is there to hear it.

The movie doesn't specify it, although Wikipedia says it was most likely HIV (which makes the most sense, in my opinion.)

Personally, I like to think she died of idiocy. Her behavior kinda reminds of Princess Peach (i.e.- she's always "in another castle.")
