So it's finals week. If you're even remotely familiar with the subject, you know that means massive amounts of caffeine and little to no sleep. Lately, I've noticed that all of that has had a side effect besides the usual irritability, twitching, achiness, insomnia and general misery. Namely: megalomania. Yes, I've noticed my inner voice becoming increasingly pompous and saying things that just don't SILENCE, FOOL! I SHALL DESTROY YOU!

... Oh dear.

Christians say that inner voice is God. So just assume that it is God getting bored of you being awake all the time.

My cure for this is normally to shout back, you may come across as crazy if anyone sees it but it will make you feel better.

Finals week doesn't mean "Lots of caffeine and no sleep" to me.

To me, it means "Continue doing whatever it was you always do, with maybe an hour of studying thrown in".

As such, I haven't experienced this, because I've never had near enough caffeine.

I will also state that I am not prone to side effects, because even when I am prescribed medicine, I rarely get anything negative from them. Heck, stuff like Nyquil doesn't even make me a tad bit drowsy.
