Uncharted issues on PS3 Slim

Hi all, I recently got a PS3 Slim and picked up Uncharted (brand new, by the way). It kept freezing on the second cutscene when Nate and Sully are standing in the little cabin talking about El Dorado. Eventually I just decided to skip the cutscene and everything was working fine. But about half an hour later I was walking up some stairs and the game froze again. Has anybody else had problems with Uncharted, or indeed any game, on the new PS3?

Have you tried other games on the ps3?

No I haven't tried any other games yet. Tried a few Blu-Ray discs and they work fine. I think the PS3 Slim ships with 3.0 firmware.

EDIT: was just told that 3.0 does indeed have problems with Uncharted. Patch soon hopefully.

best to contact Sony support centre. If its a slim then its definitely not out of warranty (if there is a problem with the PS3 itself), and they should be able to give you better advice than the likes of us.
