Mirror's Edge. It could have been a good game, but then they went and stuck most of it indoors, completely ruining it's freestyle feel.
That too, although I'm willing to forgive them because they were trying something new. If it never sees a sequel it'll be great for a long time because it's the only one that did it. If we see Mirror's Edge 2, then ME1 will be seen as something to be forgotten.

Perhaps a sequel to Deadly Premonition, set this time in a snowy mountain town and staring a new main character...

Shadowrun - reboot the Sega Genesis game which was the closest thing to the pen and paper game.

Breakdown - reboot sequel this game, it was a pretty interesting mix of 1st-person shooter and 1st-person fighting game.

Strider - I liked all the versions of Strider; the Genesis version based off the arcade, the Nintendo version and even Strider 2. But it really needs a next gen version.
never thought i see someone else mention breakdown other then my avatar when ever i post something

No more sequels, we want more good PC games with new IP's!!!!!!

Anyways, the games I'd like to see a sequel would be System Shock 2 and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.

Paradox Interactive is making Victoria 2 and it comes out in ten days. The original sold poorly and was in many, many places a complex mess of micromanagement hell (and yet is one of my all-time favorite games. Go figure.)

Hehe, cool avatar. Loved that game, I love fps games, especially ones with sci-fi/fantasy/crazy storylines which stray from the tired military shooter themes and add fighting game style martial arts into the mix and it was a great yet overlooked game. Could probably make a killer game out of it using current technology.

Also, want to add the X-wing and Tie Fighter games to the list, loved those games and it would be cool to see them reborn for the next gen generation.

A decent-looking sequel to Blood would just be lovely, cause Blood 2 was just too painful to look at to be called a sequel. Though I wouldn't know how a fast-paced and absurdingly violent ego-era shooter would look like or play out today.
I really Hated blood 2 from a story standpoint.

the ending mostly, but indeed ANYTHING in the second half of the game felt like stupid padding.

and let me hold ALL the guns, damnit!

I'll second Mirror's Edge, I seem to be in the minority who thought that game was one of the best of that year and loved every bit of it. But I think they actually are working on a Mirror's Edge 2 so does that count?

Dark Void. It could have been so good if they just ironed some things out. If only the controls were a bit smoother, if only the story made a bit more sense, if only the writing wasn't awful, if only the graphics were better, if only it were longer... Luckily it ended on a cliffhanger so I hope that means another one but with a bigger budget and a longer production time... something, because Dark Void could have been great, especially with vertical cover combat and jetpack dogfights. Just a bit more polish could have helped the game shine and you know I really think that we should give them another chance.
