Unforgivable Gaming Sins

Have you ever felt that you had done something that separated you from the gaming community? Or done something in gaming which felt wrong to do? Maybe you loved a game which everybody hated, or you hated a game which was considered amazing. I thought of this because my friend has recently started to think that I'm mad, as I don't think that GTA IV is all that good.

The biggest one for me though would be that I am about 3/4 of the way through Bioshock 2 (and I'm thoroughly enjoying it) but I have never played the first Bioshock.

So what gaming 'sins' have you ever committed?

It almost seems as if it's a sin to dislike the Half Life series.

If that's the case, then let the power of Christ compel me. I hated the Half Life series.....

I play World of Warcraft.

And love it.

Iv never played a SMT or a Persona game.
And JRPGS are one of my favorite types of games.

I do not like Uncharted 2. Same for Red Dead Redemption.

I did not care for Mass Effect, or GTA4, and I thought that Prototype was more fun than inFamous.

There's nothing wrong with the last 2. However, The Mass Effect thing is Unforgivable. You will probably burn in gamer hell for it.

OT Fo' Realz: I don't like Halo, Killzone, or No More Heroes.

Never played a Zelda game, never played a JRPG, never played Oblivion/Morrowind(except Morrowind, but that was only like for 2 hours), never played a metroid game, never played a Metal Gear Solid game.

Truth be told, I don't give a shit.

I get it "blah blah your not a gamer", "you don't deserve to play videogames", "what kind of monster are you", etc.

I can't get interested in mainstream games? I like non-mainstream games, most notably the "niche" games.

Yeah I don't really like either of those. To be fair though, I didn't really try Red Dead, because I figure that if I don't like GTA, why would I like a game which is the same as GTA except with crappier weapons, slower moving "vehicles" and the same engine.
I couldn't just enjoy it for it's scenery.

I think Bioshock 2 is better than the first (even if it lacks Andrew Ryan), and the same for L4D2, only more so. I think CoD4 is a brilliant game. There. I'm going straight to hell now.

Nothing wrong with liking CoD4, its a fucking amazing game, unlike MW2 though.

Having a pokemon team with all ubers and all having hte same item.

oka, that made me sound like a loser. Um... using the invincibility/unlimited ammo/dumb down the enemy cheat and playing a game seriously like that.

I actually enjoyed Bladestorm more than GTA IV. Ever heard of it? No, you haven't, because it has no redeeming features. That said, Roman Bellic was such a titanic thundertwat that I dropped playing GTA for a while to try and tolerate Alone in the Dark. Caught between Iraq and a hard place....

It may be a sin to others but I have never considered myself wrong for this, everything after the psx/n64 days is PURE SHIT.
