OT: I couldn't get into Oblivion. It was alright, but I just didn't see the hype. Oddly enough, though, I really like Fallout 3, which has a lot of similar qualities. * Readies Flame-Shield*

I fail to see what's so special about Half Life 2, except the Source Engine, which is amazing.
GTA IV bored me. The terrible dialogue and character animations stopped me from playing both TES: Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I don't see how these are sins, though.

Every time I play a game, I think of numerous ways to improve it, from better combat systems, to better health mechanics to better multiplayer.

Why is that so bad, you ask?

Because I could easily think up fantastic games, but I wouldn't be able to create them for the life of me. I can't script. I suck at character modeling. I can only create lackluster levels in UDK (Unreal Development Kit). And finding open jobs for a Creative Lead or Creative Director are ridiculously difficult to find.

I might not go to Gamer Hell, but maybe Gamer Limbo, for the lack of the good I could have done.

This question is silly. As if people aren't entitled to have a differing opinion to the majority in the GAMING COMMUNITY. Grief, are we really so very conformist that this is even a necessary question to ask ? People's tastes differ, big crime.

Most of the games mentioned in this thread are just arguably bad games, people don't happen to like. Who cares?

I know, most people have taken to just naming their games which they hated and everyone loved (or vice versa). I made this thread because I was interested in how people view the more mainstream/non-mainstream games and what they consider to be a terrible thing in gaming. I wasn't just asking people to say that "Halo 3 is good/bad".

I hate Half Life, Halo, GTA4, Borderlands and the Fallouts before Fallout 3.

I play WoW and I love it. After giving it up for 3 years, I gave in, got it again and I'm hopelessly addicted again.

I prefer playing most games, including FPS games, on consoles.

In fact, I flat out dislike pretty much every PC game. WoW is the only one I tolerate.

I don't like Zelda.

I've never played a Mario game.

I love playing The Sims.

I have never completed a game on any mode higher than "Normal/Medium".

I enjoy playing the Wii. fuck, i am so going to hell for that one.

I agree with all of this, except I like Halo and always complete games on the hardest mode if I can. I have played a mario game, but I don't like them.

I wanna get back into WoW, but I'm scared to when I've got A levels coming up. It might take over my life, and I'll get crap grades.

Prepare to be terrified by the sheer evil that lies in me:
I hate Bioshock 1&2, WoW, FarCry 1, Riddick Dark Athena and Butcher Bay. I consider Mass Effect 2 a mediocre game and the same goes for Bad Company 2 judging by the Single player only. For me Mafia, No one lives for Ever and their screwed numbering system, Fifa (any) and the Longest Journey (both) suck.

I enjoy Sacred 2 on the xbox. And i'm a sucker for traditional loot collecting hack n' slashers in general. Nothing wrong with 'dated gameplay' in my opinion.

I've never played the Half-Life series, or any Valve game for that matter.
I -really- disliked Shadows of the Colossus.
I use a game guide for Legend of Zelda games sometimes. *sigh* <- that one hurt.
