The sleeping pills do nothing! Except make me feel really drowsy when I wake up...(Trimazepam)
Oh, and apparently I could develop a dependence to them, despite the fact that they don't help me sleep.

Once, my friend had food poisoning. As a result, he had to take antibiotics with an enormous list of side effects, one of which was diarrhoea. To solve this problem, he had to take... well, I'll let the packaging explain it to you:

Yes, that tube at the bottom is used for exactly what you're thinking of.

One of the side-effects of the malaria medicine I had to take once was: Death.

Death after weeks of dysentery style symptoms and hair loss.

I think I would rather have malaria...then again if that means I have to play Far Cry 2 again, bring on the dysentery...

According to the medicine my one year old son is taking for his cold, he shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery for at least six hours after consumption.

Sad to hear it. You have this stranger's condolences.

OT: I can think of when I used "happy pills". They didn't really make me happy, and when I decided they didn't help out, I had to drop down slowly for 6 months, or I'd turn into a motherfucking wreck...
Or so I like to call "chronically depressed state" as.
Thank you. And I know how you feel about happy pills, I was on them too for a while. They made me feel completely numb, I couldn't feel sadness, happiness or anger. Most of the time I just stared off into space and sat there like a zombie. Made me look grey too. I stopped taking them and dealt with my problems myself, it's the only way you can.
Tell me about it...

Sometimes I wonder if the persons making these useless medicines needs to take medicines themselves.
Of course it's just judgmental but still...

The 'pams are mostly anti-anxiety, and are hella addictive. Try Seroquel, it'll knock you on your ass. In fact, it's the only drug that can have that effect on me. And it's non habit forming.

Lithium makes you fat. *shakes fist*
Effexor and Cipralex kill your sex drive. *shakes fist*
Clonazapam and Diazapam don't do shit. *shakes fist*

ETA: Over the counter sleeping pills are just decongestants. Don't take them unless you like puking a lot.

Reading instruction manuals with medication is vital and thinking that "one won't hurt" if they advise you not to do it.

Anti-psychotics and one Mojito kept me awake for 3 days stuck in an expression not unlike this - 0.0

That was last year's moment of stupid. Still waiting for this year.

Over the summer, I had to take prednisone for my Crohn's Disease. It gave me some odd mood swings.

I inherited immunity to painkillers, anti-inflammatorys, and muscle relaxers from my father, so the only drugs I take are anti-biotics and sleep aids.

I once took a sleep aid that had similar results to cialis. I'd wake up every morning with a raging (And I mean raging) hard on that would last just shy of four hours.

Wow.

I make a point of drinking with my anti phsycotics. Passes time rather nicely. :p
Also, it adds new elements of challenge to expert mode on L4D2.

Yes, Lithium does!

Valpro makes me shake, gives me muscle weakness and tremors, gave me insomnia and confused speech. It's a mood stabiliser like Lithium.

Meds suck. You don't realise until you are dependant on them.

Just got the p.docs ok to go off valproic. *happy dance*
Now that I'm off mood stabilizers, maybe I start looking more human, and less slug.

2) Males can get thrush and taking antibiotics apparently helps it develop. (BTW its shit)
Certain shower gels in the 90's gave you thrush as well, it messes up your skin chemistry and causes yeast infections, nasty shit dawg.

Also men can get breast cancer.

my ex couldn't take the pill due to a heart murmur, and she was allergic to latex so condoms were a no no.

The pregnancy pill. I'm adjusted to it now though, been taking it for nine months (ironically)
Sucks about your ex though, I dunno what I'd do... the implant probably. It looks painful xD

No, don't go for the implant, my ex told me "she could feel it" and it wasn't nice, she loved sex and her and another friend both said it destroyed the "good vibes". So no coil, seriously no coil.

Unfortunately she also had a problems with one of her overies so the ironic thing is we could practise safe sex but she wouldn't get pregnant, we went our seperate ways when a doctor told us we'd never have a child together, too many problematic issues, I'd rather she have the family she wanted then be part of the reason she didn't have a family.
