So I was listening to the radio today when this song came on:

Now, I'm sure this was not their intention with the song but something made me go "wait, what the hell?"

About 20 seconds into the song, he states this: "Got your picture in my hand". Harmless right...except, he just met this person and from the song, sounds like he just saw her (didn't speak with her or have any kind of interaction). Where did he get her picture? o_O

So, anyone have a piece of media that they can think of like this? The original item is harmless but something you can twist or take out of context makes it kind of creepy? Do share!

Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like The Wolf' is very creepy if you think about some of the lyrics:

"I'm on the hunt, I'm after you." "...and I'm hungry like the wolf." This is really just a thinly veiled statement about stalking, isn't it?

Well, I love this song. It's not that he just met the girl. For some reason she left him, and he's gone out looking for her. Like when people put up pictures of lost pets saying "Have you seen this ______?" He's out with her picture, asking if people have seen her because he wants to find her again.

Personally, I find this Trojan condom commercials a little creepy. Just the way that their bodies aren't normal. . . I find it a little unnerving.

(No, this isn't the TV one. I couldn't find that one, but this is the "official" one they have on their youtube page...)

EDIT: Thanks tippy2k2 for correcting my video formatting. :)

EDIT: I can't seem to get the video to show, so here is the direct link if it doesn't work for you too.

You have the youtube tag wrong and the tag for the video wrong (just quote me if you want to see how it should look):

I listened to the song again, my assumption with the "where I first saw you" line was that he did just see her. I'll give The Script the benefit of the doubt...for now. I figured calling her or waiting for her to call him if that's the case would be easier but I guess I've just never been in love...

Yeah, I can understand how you got that conclusion and I agree that there are easier ways. But I guess he's using it as a metaphor or something? I just enjoy the song and the meaning that he's trying to convey.
