My copy of Arkham City has appears to have some sort of glitch that causes every instance of 'Freeze' to become 'Fries', which makes most of the dialogue rather bizarre (like Batman telling Penguin he's "only here for Fries")
Actually that's the correct spelling of Mr. Freeze's last name. His full name is Victor Fries. So...yeah, your game's just fine.

Perhaps my favorite glitch ever is in Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. During the mission to blow up the armory if you crouch down in one of the doorways you fall through the hallway and into the armory itself, allowing you the opportunity to loot the entire area without being hassled by a 2 minute time limit.

The downside to this is you have to kill yourself with a grenade to get out. Totally worth it though!

In Skyrim yesterday I was walking from Markath and ran into an Imperial soldier. I tried to talk to him and behind him I saw a man on a horse fly by in the sky. He went through a mountain and then came back in a circle. I tried to get close enough to talk to the man on the horse but he was moving too fast and went through the mountain again.

I had a funny glitch on ME3 multiplayer. I ended up about 200ft above the level walking around happily. I have no idea why. I could still shoot and be shot at and everything, I was just flying high.

In Skyrim I just fired a simple ice bolt at a dragon on my level 5 mage...it launched the dragon Team Rocket style into the sky and I never saw it again.
I fired an arrow at a dead bear I'd just killed as it floated in a stream. It suddenly spun and just started spinning faster and faster, rebounding off the rocks before clipping a bit of land and flying off to the horizon.

I can only imagine the thoughts of some poor NPC, minding his own buisiness when a suddenly a dead bear rockets past him at an insanely fast speed!
First one in here i think shows something similar to what your explaining. Actual glitches are #10, 4, 2, and 1.

Theres also these:

I was playing co-op on Dead Rising to and my friend was chasing me with a machete but, being the genius that I am, I managed to pick up a sword fish. I proceeded to throw the fish at him and I missed but a few seconds later the fish began rising biblically into the air. It rose above our heads and above the building in the strip before it miraculously disappeared, it was beautiful...

I remember one time when I was playing COD: united Offensive where I sniped a enemy and his body did cartwheels up a tree. I regret deleting that recording.

In Dragonshold/Sykrim I visited the court wizard at night and he was nowhere to bed found so I figured he'd be in his bedroom sleeping. I entered and found him sleeping indeed... floating about 3 feet above his bed. My first thought wasn't glitch, though. I thought "yeah that's how any respectable wizard would spend the night".

The first time I discovered the map where you could go UNDER the floor in TF2. Second time I tried it, it took FOREVER but I got down there with an engie and locked the defenders down tight with my turret. I'm pretty sure I got an achievement or two (badges on steam I think) for that. We were laughing at how pissed the other team was.

I'm very shocked that noone has mentioned the Giants in Skyrim. One hit from those bad boys and your character turns ends up joining the Skyrim Space Program. I managed to fly over the Throat of the World doing this.

Happy days.
I don't know if that's actually a glitch, or just something Bethesda thought it would be funny.
It's more of a bug - but I'm just nit-picking. :)
But seriously, though - it was just a glitch. But it was so funny, I think Bethesda decided to leave it in.

That's not a glitch, it's the best feature ever.

OT: In "Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness", they actually got stair climbing done right... assuming you hold the "forward" key at all times. If you let go, she suddenly begins to riverdance.

So in the sequence where she's being chased by cops up a staircase, I didn't have a handle on how the controls worked, so she kept riverdancing around every corner. The cops would yell French things at me every time I did that. It was very amusing.
I'd totally going to have to Youtube this. Never mind gritty rape stories, I want to see some fun riverdance!
