it's supposed to be "silly-serious", yet it's "serious-sillyness", with a lot of probably unwanted hilarity

I mean, the director fucking nailed it with this movie, because, come on, do you really take a movie called "MegaShark vs Giant Octopus" seriously?

That movie must be made of win and science! :O

I feel like a bastard for saying this, but 'My Sister's Keeper' has some scenes that nearly made me cry from sadness, and some scenes that made me cry with laughter. Especially when Cameron Diaz was being a ***** about her daughter having cancer.

I'm frankly amazed nobody's mentioned this particular scene:

I had to fight hard to hold back the laughter...then I realized what Lucas had done to Vader. After that, it became a fight to hold back the enraged swearing.

Not the one I was thinking of. When my friends and I saw the re-release of Return Of The Jedi, hilarity ensued when it got to the throne room scene between Vader and the Emperor after Luke made it to Endor.

Dear god this, I actually sat through most of it but damn did it suck. At the end when that one chick with the ultimate mullet keeps sending waves of red shirts at the heroes as the bad guy keeps shouting for her to stop them, also her horrible patched together accent.

And the best thing is it's about a hero named Neo helping to defeat the evil robotic overlords who have enslaved humanity.

Also I made a great joke when the robot said "The Dark one has set up a series of traps to deter you from your quest", and then the guy falls down the small hole.

I immediately said "The Dark One has set up a series of minor inconveniences"

Hilarious crap like this almost makes up for Impact replacing the ninja flicks with soft core pornos.

The director said that it was actually all just a joke, but I don't believe him. I think he was legitimately trying to make a serious drama, and failed... hilariously.

Meh.

At least he got famous for it.
