A thread for things that while not intended to, got a good laugh out of you. Could be music movies youtube, whatever.
At about 1:10 in the video Dredd just walks up to the American flag and presumably stares at it for the next 2 minutes, I like to think his house consits entirely of corners and flags.
This guys entire youtube channel is unintentional comedic gold

The Happening by M. Night Shamalama.

Totally went into expecting a serious film and I did not recieve that and I actually knew of people that found it a bit scary and took it super seriously. Different folks and strokes for pokes.

You could tell it was totally not meant to be a comedy too.

In regard to the scene in "Dredd", Judge Dredd is not staring at the flag. If you watch at 1:19 he turns around to watch Anderson.

On topic though, I would say the entirety of "The Wickerman" remake with Nicolas Cage. Probably an obvious one but it's just so awful.

On the subject of Nic Cage, most of his performances lead to unintentionally hilarious moments.

It's pretty obvious that Dredd was watching her "interrogate" the suspect in that scene. Sorry, it really wasn't funny.

Okay, I started laughing when that guy said, "Unfuck the world, go vegan" and couldn't stop to even hear anything else. That was just too funny and certainly wasn't intended to make me laugh that hard.

Yeah, sorry, I got nothing. I was laughing too hard at that video's intro.

As I mentioned in another thread a couple minutes ago, there's a scene in The Walking Dead where Merle is headstabbing some random mooks that Michonne killed, and he just sort of... gently nudges them with his knife hand, and it sinks right into their skulls. Well, it's probably unintentional on the part of the writers, anyway. If the look on Michael Rooker's face is anything to go by, he knows exactly how dumb this is.

Can't find a decent clip, but the episode in question is Season 3, Episode 6, around the 6:40 mark.

The Silent Hill movies in general. A few ones to mention are

When Cybil's being burned alive and the camera pauses on one of the cult members actually POINTING and laughing at her pain and misery. I literally have no idea why they'd include that other than to make the audience laugh out of randomness

Making Vincent Heather's boyfriend instead of the jerkass he was supposed to be in the third game. That's just... hilarious. It makes me cry, but it's also hilarious

Claudia turning into the Missionary and having Pyramid Head be Alessa's protector. Granted, the fight WAS pretty badass but still. Really, movie? When does that make any sense ever?

Also just deciding that Harry should be a female character THUS turning the entire first movie into an estrogen brigade except for the spare bits with Sean Bean's character. I think I can just laugh at these movies and their fails because I'm SUCH a big fan of the games (yes, ALL of them with the possible exception of Book of memories and bits of Origins).

There are also unintentionally funny moments sprinkled throughout horror movie remakes.

If Sean Bean had been Harry in the first movie he would've been killed off obviously.
So I guess if Silent Hill has anything positive about it, it's that it's one of the few instances where Sean Bean DOESN'T die? Well... I applaud it for that, then.

But seriously, if the movies played out more like the games then it would've been all the more heart-wrenching when Harry died in the third game/second movie

The opening scene of Ghost Ship. I know it's supposed to be horrific and gory, but I just lose it every time that guy's pants fall down.

Some of my favourite movies of his are when he survives actually.

As someone who doesn't know that much about SH. I enjoyed the movie. Maybe I should pick up the HD Collection.
Really, the only difference is that SH3 was only available to the PS2 prior to HD and you get new voices for both (MANDATORY voices for 3) but seriously, play through them. 2 is SOOOO good.

And I can enjoy the movies if I REALLY work to turn my brain off. The effects are great and the acting isn't... BAD (well okay, Mr. Jon Snow is REALLY dead-looking over there) but the colours and some of the little shout outs were fun. It's just when you compare them to the (much better) games, they just look like an amateur fan just wanted to make money

For starters, pretty much anything with Nicolas Cage is goddamn comic gold. The Wicker Man is an obvious one, but if you haven't seen the bat-shit crazy "Drive Angry", do yourself a favor and go rent it.

There was a scene in "The Phantom Menace" where Anakin Skywalker is in bed and having a nightmare, and it seriously looks like he's receiving a terrible blowjob. I know Hayden Christensen is a terrible actor, but I remember the whole audience at the movie laughing hysterically at what was supposed to be a serious scene.

About 50% of the 1990's "Judge Dredd" film was unintentionally hilarious, but one scene in particular made me and my friends laugh out loud: after Dredd kills the Angel Family and his mentor gets killed, there's a part where he's looking at what I assume is a Virgin Mary statue in the church for about a good minute, and all my friends could think about was that this statue looked like it had a 38DD chest. Seriously, it looked like 90's Pam Anderson in statue form.

And basically any scene with John Travolta in "Battlefield: Earth". Actually, just "Battlefield: Earth".

The anime series Another... especially if you see all the deaths out of context [in this video:]

The entire game of Sonic 06...

The movie The Room... (especially the short movie of the same name by Doug Walker...)

Uh... I guess most torture porn movies, especially those shown on IFC... and most people have already said what I was going to say, anyway...
