Lost Vikings for the SNES and Genesis. Quite unique and very strange.

I don't really have many strange PC offerings, though... I tend to play fairly "normal" games there...

Well I got ninja'd by the OP with killer 7, balls.

Fucking love that game though, how about Gotcha Force. Crazy tiny robot fights, with Pokemon levels of character collection, good shit.

Check out Magic Pendril on the PS2. I think there were more released later on, but they didn't make it to the U.S. or PAL.

Animal Crossing is always a good choice for the strange. The whole point of the game is pretty much to pay your mortgage.

My all time favorite "weird" game (with the exception of Katamari, which was mentioned earlier) is Elite Beat Agents.

Hard to have a weird game thread and not mention the Jet Set Radio series. Those were the funkiest games ever.

Evil Genius is really fun, and really unique. It can be such a *****, though.

And for unique... I might get a lot of flak for this, I just might. But even though Far Cry 2 was nothing like the original and doesn't deserve to be called Far Cry, it's still a phenomenal game in its own right. The better your PC, the more fun it is. It's simply very beautiful and very fun, especially the physics of it. The handling of fire in the game is the best, though, with the environment really mattering a lot, and fire can force you to think strategically. It's just fun. Most people see it as repetitive, though.

Mother 2 and 3 might fit your description: not great or innovative gameplay wise by any means, but they're hilarious, and weird, and 3 has a really good story too. You'll have to find out how to play them on you're own, I might be told I'm a naughty boy if I gave you a way to play them.

How about Doshin the Giant for GameCube, it's hands down one of the most bizarre yet fun god-sims I've played. You play as a yellow giant who has to help villagers build towns by shaping the landscape, moving objects and protecting them from natural disasters.

Although if you want you can turn evil and just kill all the villagers and stomp on their town Godzilla style.

You want weird? You want CRAZZYYY? Then pick up some really cool indie games like World Of Goo (PC, Mac, Wii, IoS), any of the Bit Trip series (PC, Wii, 3ds in the future). If you REALLY want to get into the weird stuff, then theres a game for the PS1 called LSD, I think the name alone can tell you your in for a trippy experience.

I hate you <.>

OT: Well, someone already mentioned Recettear, and I agree, it's marvelous. Also, although I didn't play it (don't have PS3) I guess Demon's Souls is kinda unique?

De Blob. I haven't played it myself, but i can guess you've probably not played anything like it. (Unless you've played IT)
Oh, that's a good one. It feels kinda like Katamari Damacy, but in reverse (if that makes any sense).

Other that that (and what has already been said), I'd say that The World Ends With You is a good choice.
