What series of games, anime, or generally geeky narrative universe could you be a fanboy of? Don't be shy, everyone's got one.
Mines Warhammer 40k. 25km long space-bourne battle-cathedrals? .75 cal, explosive bolt assault rifles? What's not to like?

I'm really a fan of Forgotten Realms

The setting is so much fun and there are a lot of things I think that can be done with it.

Let's see here.
I would say Fallout, Assassin's Creed, and Star Wars are probably my favorite universes.
Hell. Who wouldn't love swords made out of superheated plasma, hidden blades, and Badass power armor? :D

On the case of Anime/Manga, I must say Legendz was a fun one to dig into. The anime was more interesting than the manga though, probably due to the manga being a copy-cat YuGiOh universe. -.-

I have still yet to get into FR. I did enjoy the Super Minecraft series he did though.

Not sure if it's what you're asking, but I'll admit that I'm a proper Bioware fanboy.
Kotor, Jade Empire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect... I have a habit of falling in love with any Bioware game.

Also, Despite my best efforts, I can't stop my undying love for the Fable games. even Fable 2, horrible as it was.

And if we're including manga in this list, I have to confess to being a Naruto fanboy.

I'm going to be quiet now.

Er, I ment the setting for DnD. You know? Red Wizards of Thay? Neverwinter? Candlekeep? The Spellplauge? (Actually, forget that last one)

The .Hack series. I love all the .Hack stuff, whether it be .hack//Sign or .hack//Liminality, I love it. I'm still waiting for them to announce when they are going to bring .hack//Link to the states. Since it's the last .hack game they're going to make I really want to play it.

Is it even possible not to love BioWare?

Pokemon, Bionicle, Runescape.

But what tops it all off is the Lord of the Rings.

I love the Fallout series (Brotherhood of Steel excluded. Haven't played Tactics yet so i'unno). Yes Fallout 3 included, really like the game but just don't get me started on the story and setting of the game.

That being said, I also really like Obsidian, bugs and all. If only for their great writing and characters. Dungeon Siege 3 looks terrible though, you couldn't pay me to play that.

Not so much a BioWare fanboy anymore, just like KOTOR and Baldur's Gate. Sue me.

I don't think so, and if it is, well, I don't want to know. I associate people saying bad things about DA2 with them playing a different game (a bad one) and getting the two confused. Saying that, I haven't played DA2 yet, so... maybe it is possible...

Excuse me whilst I have an existential crisis :(

I enjoyed New Vegas more than Fallout 3. More backstory to dig into.
I don't know why everyone is harping on about the bugs. That's probably the best bit.
It's fun seeing people stick out of walls, and walking on thin air. Just makes the game more fun.

I love all things Nintendo. Mario has the greatest games to ever exist and anyone who thinks so is wrong. Zelda continually produces epic and satisfying games. Mario Kart is the greatest racing experience and Super Smash Brothers never gets old.

However, I am starting to have my doubts as to Ninty's ability to create consoles anymore. Does this disqualify me as a fanboy?

Oh yeah definitely. And every faction is in character too, no orc-like Super Mutants or altruistic Brotherhood of Steel.

Ah, so you know of Bionicle eh? Gotta love them Toa.
I actually became a huge fan of the Piraka and the Dark Hunters. I just loved their attitudes and how they approached their problems.

Major Bionicle fan, even though I'm 20, I still love building them. You have to love the Masks of Power.

I'm also a major Metroid fanboy, as well as the Half-Life series.

For anime it has to be Bleach. I love that show.

Books: Lord of the Rings, and the Magic the Gathering Novels, I can not forget to mention the H. P. Lovecraft stories.
