Games: All Halo(Maybe not Wars though)
Book: Harry Potter
TV: Doctor Who and CSI Miami.

All of them pretty obvious one, CSI I am only just getting into. Bought the season four DVD box set, which only had 12 out of the 28 episodes( should have known since it only cost £5 ) and have been watching it none top.

Pokemon, Bionicle, Runescape.

But what tops it all off is the Lord of the Rings.
Ah, so you know of Bionicle eh? Gotta love them Toa.
Major Bionicle fan, even though I'm 20, I still love building them. You have to love the Masks of Power.

I'm also a major Metroid fanboy, as well as the Half-Life series.

For anime it has to be Bleach. I love that show.

Books: Lord of the Rings, and the Magic the Gathering Novels, I can not forget to mention the H. P. Lovecraft stories.
I've still got a massive box filled with Bionicle parts, and still build and rebuild.

I have 12 Bionicle posters in my room as we speak, and I'm like 19. I will never take them down until I get the original Pohatu poster that's eluded me for 10 years!

Once I even took apart like 20 sets and combined them into one massive abomination.

Definitely Lord of the Rings here.

Oh, and White-Wolf's World of Darkness setting. This is the standard by which I judge any and all Vampire/Werewolf/etc mythology. Example: "Vampires don't sparkle in the sun, they burn! Why? Well, first off, the idea of vampires sparkling in the sun is effing stupid, but secondly, because WHITE-WOLF SAYS SO!"

Portal. Seriously, Portal
I have spent minutes at a time convinced Portal 1&2 are the pinnacle of human achievement, without irony.

(ahem) Portal 2 is soooooo motherfucking awesome! Valve finally figured out how to manufacture pure joy, and it was amazing! And the ending was perfect, tying up all the lose ends while opening up the co-op. Mass Effect 2 is pretty sweet, too.

sadly almost nothing.
I am a walking encyclopedia on things star wars and 40k but(with the exception of preparing everyone i know to embrace our tau overlords) usually don' defend it especially fanboyish.
I used to get all worked up when somebody smack talked bioware or Blizzard but then came dragon age 2 and the starcraft 2 release schedule, respectively.

These days even me being part of the master race is more of an ironic statement to bait some console peasants into freaking out.

Can't believe it hasn't been said yet (granted I only skimmed so I might have missed it) STAR WARS. I openly hate the prequels and games like The Force Unleashed, yet deep down I know that I still accept them, because they're Star Wars.

Dragon Ball, but I will NOT associate with most other Dragon Ball fans.
And this too. I grew up watching DBZ on Cartoon Network, and I can still remember all the characters names and events, but I never got in as deep as some of the fans.

EDIT: Oh wait, it was said... many times. That's what you get for skimming folks. My bad.

Warhammer 40k and Battletech would probably be my two favorites, 40k might edge out more but it's also probably a bit more of a guilty pleasure it's not considered good/respectable by at least most of my local nerdites.

Nintendo. They actually keep up consistent quality and care for their IPs and their fans. They have more IPs than the Escapist is willing to acknowledge, and have a variety of genres to choose from. Even the best of other companies usually only excel in one genre and almost make that kind exclusively. For all the bashing people give Nintendo, they do offer plenty of variety. The Escapist is just too busy going "GIMMICK GIMMICK GIMMICK!"

Assassin's Creed. It's one of the best franchises to come out in this generation. Yes, the plot with Desmond is very lacking, but the overall Templar conspiracy is actually pretty damn good (and kinda creepy). And the stories in the past are also pretty strong. Combine that with solid gameplay that improves with each game, and one of the most fun multiplayer experiences in a while, and you got a great series.

As far as Anime goes, I'm a fanboy of One Piece. Surprisingly well thought out in certain aspects, doesn't take itself too seriously, actively avoids the tired "fight, training, fight, training" formula of Shonen anime, a great variety of skills and special abilities used in unique and interesting ways, good characters both heroes and villains, and overall always fun to read or watch.

I'm a massive comic book fanboy. I just love the idea of a story that just keeps going, with various twists and turns along the way, never knowing what might happen next. I love the fake science, the strange costumes, the elaborate backstories, the interactions among characters, and just all manner of superheroes.

I enjoyed New Vegas more than Fallout 3. More backstory to dig into.
I don't know why everyone is harping on about the bugs. That's probably the best bit.
It's fun seeing people stick out of walls, and walking on thin air. Just makes the game more fun.
Oh yeah definitely. And every faction is in character too, no orc-like Super Mutants or altruistic Brotherhood of Steel.
That's what sorta pissed me off.
After experiencing the BOS in Fallout 3 with their roles as "Wasteland Guardians", it was a strange change seeing the Nevada Chapter of the BOS act like douchebags.
