The video demonstration does show off impressively detailed 3d landscapes and models, yet it's only a static display (no animation).

Still, this technology enables unlimited polygon count. Imagine the phenomenal detail that this technology will bring into our future games (I doubt that current gen machines can run something like this).

What do you guys think of this?

A very enlightening read. Apparently the old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" is still applicable nowadays.

It's still cool to check out though, in a "tech demo" kind of way.
