Scythe for sure. But if we expand the medium to include TV series, the "Vaporizer" from CSI is a serious contender. For those that haven't seen it, it's a big turret-like weapon that shoots enough bullets to cover the entire human body and then some, essentially vaporizing the target and leaving just a few scraps of flesh and blood. The weapon is fictional, but has a sorta "similar" real life component of a weapon capable of firing over 1.5 million rounds per minute.


Funny thing is it's an Aussie firm... and I can't shake this image from my head of WW3 with Aussies riding Kangaroos with these turrets attached to them. Actually, I need to patent that idea and make it happen one day!

OT: The final optional summon in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. By the time you get it, there's only one boss left it has a type resistance. The cinematic that goes with it shows your enemies being picked up, beat up, flown into space, and thrown into the sun.

Not forgetting, of course, the myriad of ridiculous summons that you get in even just Golden Sun.

Wow ninja'd on the first reponce, well played sir, lol. Yes, a scythe, its totally impractical since its a farming tool, but the look awesome. Also, I feel like they could easily be augmented with a few adjacent blades down the handle, ensuring that even partial misses inflict damage. Maybe even a spike on the top for thrusting halberd style.
