Got inspired by Spectre to watch the Craig Bond films after only watching bits of them.

So... Quantum of Solace is OK.
I think Skyfall is ever so slightly better than Casino Royale, though that's only because Royale really loses me in the final action sequence.

I actually quite like Sucker Punch. Sure, it's madder than a bag of cats, but that's sort of why I like it. There's really nothing else quite like it.
Seconded. Besides that ugly looking, awful train segment, Sucker Punch was a messy blast of a film.

I liked The Punisher but my all-time favorite Marvel movie is Punisher: War Zone. I don't think that's very controversial when it comes to movie opinions so here's a pretty big one. Overall, I hate the Christohper Nolan Batman Trilogy. Dark Knight Rises is the worst of the three in my opinion but out of the original trilogy, the absolute closest it gets to feeling like a Batman movie is this scene from Batman Begins:

The rest of the trilogy just doesn't do anything for me and honestly...I don't like Christian Bale as Batman. He quits, he doesn't make his own equipment, he quits, he quotes people who are smarter than he is, he kills and most importantly HE FREAKING QUITS. Batman has killed in the comics but Batman has only quit when he got so old that he had to resort to using guns. Aside from screwing up Bruce Wayne worse than George Clooney, they turned Bane Scottish, they refused to let Selina Kyle come out as Catwoman, they ass-pulled Robin, Lao was a filler villain, Szaz was largely unused, The Bat-Tank is freaking stupidly designed, Scarecrow goes from Ghoul to Goon and, The Joker's plans were reliant exclusively on coincidence.

...that being said, I loved Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. He generally gets a pass from me anyway though to be honest.

I LORV Predator 2.
Although from what I understand, people don't regard it as *that* bad, the weakest of the trilogy maybe, but even if you say you love Predator 2 to someone who hates it they're response will probably be "Cool."

In other news.
I'm a fan of found-footage movies.
Some of them anyway. Paranormal Activity (the first one), Blair Witch, Grave Encounters, As Above So Below, Cloverfield, Chronicle, love 'em.
I get it, it can be dizzying and/or distracting and some don't like that. Well, I do, and in fairness, that has nothing to do with the quality of the film.
The found-footage style is a lot like any other style: Some things it does right, some things wrong, and it's gonna need a filmmaker who can tell which is which to maximize the strengths and minimize or better yet, cleverly work around the weaknesses.

Most of what I'm saying is paraphrased from a Nostalgia Critic video, credit where it's due; I don't know what the general opinion of him is around here but I think he's relatively entertaining and I find his take on the found-footage style pretty interesting.

My own opinion, the movies I mentioned I like very much, found-footage aside, I like them for what they are, not what they do.

I thought Apocalypse Now was unfinished and boring. *sigh*

I don't get the love for Fight Club. I had to study it for college and I found it juvenile. The narrator is a whiny narcissistic asshole (I'm sure he's a repressed closet homosexual too - I'm not using that as an insult, that's just the vibe I got) who sets up a cult devoted to destroying The System? because So Edgy. He reminds of those people who ***** about not getting -thing- in life and then go on to threaten or kill people as if everyone else is the problem. Talk about First World Problems...

Fight Club is the most overrated movie ever.

I always say this :)
I just saw your post. I'm so glad I'm not alone on this.
