I was really hoping for another alchemy girl... either bumbling against strangers or destroying other people property.

Also, I'm thinking about the artists who had gone through all this effort to draw and program this intro.. only for the "story"-department to add "???" and "....".

I had better conversations with 2 month old babies.

Funny thing; I thought you were actually reviewing Atelier Meruru because I forgot the name at the time and I thought your PS2 talk was riffing at the game's primitive graphics (let's face it; you could run Atelier Totori on the PS2). It wasn't until the last part of the video when I realised that this wasn't actually Atelier Meruru at all; just another Atelier game with graphics so shoddy for its generation that it could be run on the previous one.

now that i actually played the game.. after that tutorial fight.. they actually get surrounded..
and then they get bailed out by game mechanics...

Also the flying swords thing? yeah.. it's an entire "world" of hanging swords.. where they apparently have lakes a village and... some kind of clock..

the game itself is actually quite fun..
