When the Kraken billowed up, my first thought was that Hades had just released the world's longest, largest, messiest fart. He even looks like he's saying, "Oh my fellows, this gas is *Killing* me, and I know it's gonna be BAD."

Not a bad ep.

The game is boring as hell, so that didn't help, lol.
i love how this game literally has no differences (plot-wise and aesthetically) from a jrpg as well.
extremely linear "RPG" where you play as a young lad who saves the world

yet JRPGs get praise while this game is shunned?
:/

anyways, lol at the "I just gotta kill that seagull, right?"

Honestly what annoyed me most about the crappy movie (and by extension the crapy game) is that the pretty much took liberty in completely changing around greek mythology. seriously everyone just learn a bit and watch the movie, you will come out feeling all the more annoyed

for starters
The Kraken is from SCANDINAVIAN mythology
No seamonsters helped the gods defeat the titans
Zeus didn't create humans, Prometheus did
Hades was content with ruling the underworld and it was Poseidon who threw a fit over getting the ocean
The chest containing Perseus and his mother washed up on some kingdom with a king who wanted to bone perseus' (still alive) mother
and lastly Zeus couldnt care less about people's love. he made a habit of kiddnaping and raping women aswell as punishing everyone he met (including a guy trying to save his kidnapped wife)

and I didn't know that the ancient Greeks were actually British
everyone who's been dead for more than 300 years is British. In the year 3000 AD, historical re-enactments of this time period will feature Texans with cockney accents.

What twisted mockery of Greek mythology were they working from?

Not every religion is based on a Trifecta boys and girls. And HAdes wasn't even evil! He's probably the most level minded of all the Gods! And futhermore (Long rant including gnashing on the wallpaper and eating carpet for a few minutes)

Alright I'm done. This game looks like it sucks, but the commentary was funny, and that's what I watch Unskippable for. As long as they keep delivering, I'll keep watching.
Haha yeah, this Unskippable was great. Certainly a great laugh :D

The mythology of the movie takes it's roots (apparently) from the original, although I couldn't make it through the original. I was ok with the movie, even though my inner Greek Mythology nerd was shouting out in anger. I just wish someone would give the Greek stories a proper treatment. For now, I have to settle for the Percy Jackson books (totally different than the movie.)

Good gravy, the lip sync in that game was awful. It looked like he was chewing gum and rolling socks in his mouth while attempting to speak.

Is it just me...or is Zeus a huge d***? :O

Trust me in one way or another all the gods are dicks.
Sure, but Zeus does take the cake on that one. Not only he tried to bang everything that remotely resembled a female, he did so in the most manipulative ways, whilst having a ounce of concern about the gazillion children he left around the world to suffer under the envious look of his wife.

As they did not invent divorce back then, that ***** Hera took fer frustration out on his little bastards instead of cutting his divine balls off. Thus Hercules' Twelve Works... poor guy.

I really hate Zeus. But he kind of represents what is most primal in us, depending in the point of view in which you absorb the myths.

Didn't Prometheus "just" gave fire back to the humans?

He's kind of a big deal as far as theater goes, almost as big as Dyonisius in my opinion. :)

I like him specially because he bumps shoulders with Zeus in the beginning and in the lost end when his prophecy fulffils itself and that big-bearded ************ fall from his heavenly throne.

Wait... So why is it that a small piece of one god is somehow more powerful than three full gods?? I don't get how that works...

I'm not exactly a huge Greek mythology buff, but geez at least try a little bit guys! (talking to the film/game people here)

Excellent job as usual guys! Keep the bad cutscenes rolling! (talking to the Graham/Paul people here)

Depends on which story you read. most of the ones ive read say that prometheus created humans, which pissed zeus off, then gave humans fire which pissed him off even more. seriously all forms of media portray zeus as benevolent when in fact his favorite pass times were raping and condeming.

and yeah poor prometheus, tries to do good and ends up with chained to a rock and having his liver eaten.

It has been several years since I saw it, but I believe in the original movie "titans" referred to Medusa and the Kraken. Not exactly accurate, but it sounded better than "Clash of a monster borrowed from Norse mythology and the decapitated head of a Gorgon," which also would have given away the ending. If the more recent film was essentially a remake of that one, then I think the inaccuracy of the title can be forgiven... again.

Also, if it's basically a remake with updated special effects, then it really has no excuse not to be a thoroughly entertaining film.

Ooh! Just thought of this:

Where did the Kraken come from again? Hades just pulled it out of his ass.

The game may be in actual 3D, but that doesn't make better than the movie.

Watch Video
I wonder if this game was made by a japanese company, since in almost every Jap RPG or game released, there's a crow or several at the first scene of the Introduction...

Either Russell have a large family or they have some obsesion with crows... just like Molyneux have with Chicken.
