is it just me, or was the voiceover guy in the mind jack trailer, the worst choice ever? he sounded happy and excited while talking about people's right to freedom of thought being forcefully stolen away.

Is it just me, or does MindJack look almost exactly like any other near-future shooter made in recent years? And we're supposed to make a big deal out of it just because it premiered at E3? No thanks. I'm waiting for Portal 2, my own self.

Also, I believe (that I would be glad to be corrected if I am wrong) that Portal 2 wasn't included because it's going to be a good game. These games will not. Hence funny.

They could've buffered it with the Kid Icarus trailer. I watched that and thought it felt ripe for riffing. "BARK LIKE A DOG!" Really, Nintendo?

I agree, the Kid Icarus trailer was really corny. I would have thought it was perfect material for something like Unskippable.

wow what the hell is Mind Jack? Trailers are supposed to suck you in no matter how crappy the game turns out to be, but that thing was hilariously bad. I think the narration killed it.

That Troy trailer bugs the hell out of me.

Do I get to play on the Trojan side, or the Greek? Am I a name hero like Achilles, Paris, Ajax or Hector, or am I Hairy Shlub #463 out of 5000? It looks pretty combat heavy but there's a story in there too, so is it an RTS, RPG, action, what? Do I get to change the story or is it taken as a given that you spend 99% of the game fighting on a barren plain with no result and the final 1% looting Troy? If I choose a female character do I have any gameplay impact or do I just wait to get raped in the end credits? I suppose if it's part of a franchise then people familiar with the franchise would know some of the answers to those questions, but coming in cold, there's no clue.

Did they forget they were making a game trailer?

Also, that's really original - taking over people's minds to make them your allies, shooting from cover with handguns.. Oh, right, Psi-Ops from 2006 or so. Damn that trailer sucked. Tron one too ;d sorry.

I actually wouldn't mind the Tron game... if it lives up to its trailer anyway.

Mind Jack looks... confused. What does it want to be? Shoot em up? Mech stomper?

Cheesy voice over man went above and beyond the levels of acceptable cheese there.

Oh, and thank you Graham. Few people actually know how to properly use 'AD' in relation to years.
As a history post-grad this can drive me nuts.

the Trojans didn't make the whole take the big horse into the city once they did it twice thats why it's remembered and doesn't that trailer look a lot like a combination of Spartan: Total Warrior and the movie Troy.
