My first exposure to FotNS was the awful American live-action version. At first I thought it was just a hatchet-job on the anime. Then I watched the anime and it was so much worse...
Leave it to the Japanese to ruin potential on a- ya know what scrap that. That story what shit from the get go, and game that has magic, twelve foot tall men, and women with to much attitude to put on a fucking aircraft carrier is already doomed to fail.
Uggh you used the English Option the dubbers for this game were just bad the Japanese voice actors were much better. Overall its a ok game but really they should have focused on the dream mode due the legend mode generally sucking and challenge mode being insanely hard.
That's because it's mostly just for people who have already read or seen Fist of the North Star, who get the game to enjoy punching the shit out of people as Kenshiro. The game itself kinda glosses over the story and doesn't put much emotion into the character's movements during cutscenes, so it seems really artificial and poorly written. XDYodaUnleashed said:

Hey, actually the game itself is great. Cutscenes of course are best enjoyed by fans of original manga because they all 100% copied from manga (I've checked that myself).

I thoght it was a combonation of Dim Mak and muscle-manipulation when I was watching the anime. Oh well,I doubt that this game will go that much into detail. It looks abridged enough.
EDIT: Plus the emotions of the character models are awful. As much of a fan I became while watching the episodes of the anime while it was out,I'm gonna end up renting it if generous.

Yeah, this pretty much looks like the opening to Hokuto no Ken. I assume they left all the head exploding punches for actual gameplay. Too bad none of the really crazy stuff showed up in that video, like the villains who change in size from shot to shot depending on how evil they're supposed to be at the time.
I'm surprised you didn't run with the "In the not too distant future" bit.
