I thought you read the frickin comments in these threads?!
Thread 4 is full of the explanation of the bloody AP-system.
Seriously. I am getting angry at you for not getting shit.
Dude... all this was recorded a couple of months ago.
When this was done live they figured out the AP-system with help from the chat, I think it'll come either the next bit, or the one after that.

I hope they get to the part with the creepy evil lil fat girl who's underpants always show and her extremely effeminately bitchy gay brother. They are comic gold!

P.S. They are the villains of the game XD
They get to that... it creeped me the hell out.

Can someone tell me what that constant THUMPING noise is? It sounds like someone is banging against the microphone.

I'm guessing that the boys did all of those things to make fun of the gamers that really can't connect the dots. If I'm mistaken, shoot me... :-D

In further defense, we had previously never encountered a fighting system where certain attacks restore AP, MP or what have you. Didn't seem like a logical jump to make at the time.

So,.... how long did it take them to realize that there are negative and positive AP useages next to the moves, and sandstorm used 16 AP while blue moon buster GENERATED 16 AP?

...............am I the only one who played this game? I mean, I AM a nerd and all but,I kinda figured it out the first time it was explained to me. I never understood the synthesis thing later though. And there are spoken cutscenes, they're just short and composed of in-game graphics. And they kinda suck.

well, it's not. however, a word of advice - try to experiment on things more often. I play a lot of jrpg's and I must say, when experimenting, you actually find out some pretty useful skills. for instance, I'd experiment with the attack moves and probably discover new Arts.

Hey guys, i use to own this game so heres a explanation of the AP system. ARTS raise AP, SUPER ARTS use AP.
For a tool to use Sandstorm you need to use Blue moon Buster first. If you look at the ART list you'll see that Blue moon Buster says 16AP and that Sandstorm says - 16AP.

Hopeful the game will be a bit better for you both now.

oh, just noticed several other people pointed this out.......so..yeah........Keep up the good work

I played once - many years ago. I don't remember it fully (it's still on my shelf, along with the MUCH BETTER Legend of Legaia).
I never played the first one, actually I played 2 like 8 years ago when I was dead broke because my little brother bought it for $5. I've always wondered if the first game was any good.

the first one is way better than this one. I've played it twice (can't remember if I beat the game or not, but what I can remember was that it was quite long and good)

But you just cleared out all the Klaw Ants in the forest why are there more in the random battlesASHRGTHYARGKOKYARGELF- *ahem*. Wow I'm glad I never tried this one so far, it already looks weak compared to its predecessor.

You said you answer questions? Alright, here's one I've thought about for quite a while- generally whenever you do an Unskippable you emphasize how bad the cutscene du jour is, and occasionally by extension the rest of the game. While I'm sure sure this is exaggerated for comedy's sake, which of the ones you've covered would you say best serves the intended task of preparing one for the game ahead, or to put it in a different way, which one is your favorite?
