Wow, I've never heard of this game before and it actually looks like fun, or at least it has a decent art style, aside from crappy voice overs.
The graphics appear better from what I saw in the demo than in this clip... what TV/monitor are you using exactly?
poor mike patton. Maybe he should go back to playing "the Lightness", you know... so people won't get lost in him and hallucinate talking rats when they drink his river of tears...

The intro actually looked really nice, a kind of dark and stark beauty. If the actual graphics had stuck a little more to that aesthetic I would have been really interested in this game..

That was kind of a cliched start, but the bit where the rat started chatting him up with that totally un-rattish voice from out of nowhere - that was pretty cool. And silly. But definitely cool.
Would the game make good LP material? The rerun of your Legaia LP is just about done, so this could be a funny one to consider doing in the future. It looks like it has sort of weird-but-fun mood going for it.
... Okay, what the flarg, I just checked the TVTropes article and it says the quest eventually turns into a search for giant fruit? That is... not what I was expecting. I won't be getting it since I don't have a console, but my weirdness detector is starting to buzz showtunes and my curiosity is definitely piqued.

Now if the thief was just able to get distracted whilst falling (forget to fall) he should be able to fly - at least that's what it says in the guide.

He's not exactly the "sneakiest" thief if he keeps falling everywhere...though I have tried this out and for us normal people, it's an effective way of getting around. Heck maybe if he falls far enough he'll go through the earth and land in reality where the rat doesn't preach nonsense but instead gives diseases, ya know the fun kind of rat.
Also I wonder if we'll get an unskipable without a long complicated name for a game =P
