Johnson heard Jaime call out to the ET's which he knew meant one of two things. 1) she had the drop on them or 2) there weren't many of them. Either way he had his time with the console now, he just had to make it count. Taping away at the keys with furious fingers he eventually managed to get up the command for re-activating the defence system. Now just to programme the targetting systems and they were home free. He worked out how to ID an ET and entered it. Done. Around the area he heard the sound of guns discharging rounds. He ran to the door Gallagher and Jaime had past through minutes before, drawing up his Assault Rifle as he did so. Touching the side of his helmet he decided to contact the Boarding Party. "Gulf Foxtrot to Nyx. This is Johnson, site secured. Contact the boarding party and tell them the news. Remind them the objective is to take the alien ship, failing that scuttle it. I don't want them taking unneccerssary risks though. Over and Out."

Laika felt a resounding crunch as she was thrown forward in her seat. She released the seatbelts and turned the safety off of her gun. "Okay fellas, who wants point?"

 

[Pandalisk]

"Course it'll be me" He chuckled grimly he grabbed the rope and repelled down, hitting the ground with his feet, scanning the room with his shotgun.

"Clear!" he shouted up to the pod

 

[Rawker]

Laika slid down the rope. "Hmm, didn't know they parked on-world. Musta missed that part in the briefing. Cool, now we don't have to worry about not hitting hard enough and having the pod sucked back out through the vacuum. I read about that happening in some of the paperwork I filed." Laika surveyed her surroundings. There were pods lining the wall, and there appeared to be embryos inside. "Eww, those things are nasty. Well, Research is research." she said as she took a few pictures with her in helmet camera.

Hmm? were not on-world, we slammed into their ship in space a couple comments up, also what happened to Sentinel? I feel as though this thread be dying on us for some reason

"Hmm where do you think the bridge is located?" Said Repzik, while trying to figure out how to operate the door control into another section of the ship.

I dont feel as though it is dying. For all intensive purposes, the ship is in space, we have breeched sucessfully, and we are in the room I have described. Sentinel is usually good about posting, so he's probably just busy. for now we'll just say he's silently following for now.

"Haven't the haziest idea, but if I were an arrogant alien race, I'd make the bridge at the top. but the way this ship is built, that's hard to tell." Laika said, poking the eggish looking pod. "And what should do with these things? I say we open it to see what the hell it is first before we starting shooting. I've had my fill of accidently killing innocents."

 

[Pandalisk]

"And you do that reguarly?, Well if it would satisfy your curiosity fine, open it up"

With that he posistioned himself infront of the the Pod and aimed his gun towards it.

just a quick post to mention a few things. This Post will probably be quiet over the week as we have work etc. I'm send messages to Sentinel and The person playing Marcus who I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm also considering bringing in a new character who's a friend of mine who's expressed interest in the stroy I'll fit him in to Losa some how. I'd like to thank everyone for their continued activness and being so good about this RP. I will be doing more in the future but right now I'm going to stay focused here. This post will not die. I'm about to change the name so that we let people know we're still recruiting. Thank you all and please carry on posting with the same wonderful detail and interesting characters.

UPDATE: I spoke to Hairminator and I have bad news. Marcus is going to get whacked don't hate me he's ok with it expect it as soon as the story allows.

"So you were responsible for the explosions in that uranium mine? I would think that would be an indication to take explosives AWAY from you."

Sol looked around the ship, observing the various pods.

"Man, these things are weird. Like something out of that old Matrix movie."

Looking back at the others, Sol noticed that they were about to open a pod/

"What the hell are you two doing? Don't open these things! That is an order."

 

[Rawker]

"Taking AWAY explosives."Laika said in a mocking tone under her breathe. "Huh, I was framed. that mission was supposed to easy, but a certain 'outstanding officer' felt it necessary to try to do MY job with the experience of a fourth grader. It's a small wonder only the uranium fields went up in smoke. I'm not even going to mention what the radiation did to my southern regions." she said, grumbling to herself

Laika quit muttering to herself and looked over to Solomon. "then what do we do? waste 'em? Leave 'em?"

"Okay, first of all, WAY too much information. Second, just leave 'em. If they are hostile, I don't want to waste ammo. If they are friendly, I don't want to be escorting them through the ship."

 

[Rawker]

"Well, good point. I say we move out and find the bridge, or see if we can't find a vantage point to blow this place back to where it came."

 

[Pandalisk]

Repzik walked towards the closed doorway, and readied himself against the wall "Well lets get his over with then"

 

[Rawker]

Laika stood at the door controls. "Ill give a quick sweep if I see anything, and then fall back before they figure out what happened. you two can clean up the ones I didn't get initially."

 

[TheSentinel]

"Good plan. Now let's move."

 

[Rawker]

Laika pounded the door control. It was in another language, but a big green button is open in any language. the door hissed open. it opened to a cargo bay. Laika killed 4 sitting at a makeshift crate table. and shot at a few and missed on the catwalks. She slammed the door controls and prepared for the next phase of the attack. "two on the catwalks to the left, and there was one in a door way towards the back right. let's do this before they call us in."

"Right. Moving."

Without hesitating, Sol moved into the cargo bay, focusing on the catwalks to the left. Once he spotted the two, he fired two bursts, killing the aliens.

Johnson looked around, where was Jaime? "Jaime! Jaime! Gallagher fan out and find her. I'll cover right youhave left. Johnson to Nyx, we've lost Jaime, beginning search."
