Untried gaming ideas (your ideas nobodys tried)

This is basically just for the ideas youve come up with for a game that has never been made before, and for the reflection on these ideas as good or bad.

Personally, i have 3 ideas.

1.It has been done before, but never especially well. Basically a god simulator where you control the weather, but rather then with any real goal or mission, make it so that you just get to go nuts on some real world cities in as creative or interesting of ways as possible. I would love to sick a twister on the Eiffel tower or some volcanoes on silicon valley =P

2. A portal style puzzle game where you play as death. my idea is basically just for there to be some person that has hit their time but refuses to go quietly, so you (the grim reaper) have to use your scythe and powers to kill the person. This could work very nicely as an indie title =P

3. A first person fighting game. im amazed iv never seen it before, but i would love to see it. But i dont mean a boxing or real life fighting style game, i mean first person mortal kombat or street fighter or naruto, a fighting game with some insane special moves (first thought of this idea when thinking how could it would be to be Sasuke when i was 12 =P)

If any of these ideas have already been made and i just didnt know, please tell me as i would probably immediatly go and buy em =D

A third person dinosaur game. Not some of the god awful crap they have now. think jaws unleashed onyly with dinosaurs. to me that would be living my childhood dream.

Dunno about the first 2, but I believe that there are some first person fighting games, but none of them have been any good. I know there was one for the Sega CD, but almost everything for that was garbage, and I think they may have tried to put one out for the Playstation Move with similar results.

The closest to a first person fighting game would probably be the Chronicles of Riddick game(s). They're basically FPS' with a stronger emphasis on melee combat.

Then of course there's the last 45 seconds of God of War III, but that doesn't really count.

I'm not sure I remember the named, but I'm certain that there was a relatively recent indie title that was a first person fighter.

1. have the main character be blind, and have it so that the only way people can percieve the environment is by moving the character or paying attention to the sounds in the environment in order to see the reverberations.

2. make a detective story whereing the main character has either color blindness or some kind of psychosis that makes him see things in stark black and white.

3. Have a story about a man dieing from advanced lung cancer trying to solve a mystery. Have the health bar decrease an increment every level and have him cough and be weaker every level till he's knocking on deaths door and can only carry a pistol.

I'd like to see a game where you have a grappling hook and rocket boots. You could use the boots to fly and the hook to throw things around. Alternatively, sneak around with the relatively quiet grappling hook and, once you're close to an enemy, kick 'em in the face with your burning firey foot of pain. It combines the two things best suited to a sandbox free-roaming environment, allowing the player a surprising amount of variety from two relatively simple mechanics.

Breakdown for the xbox. sadly not backwards compatible on the 360 i believe but this game was epic. super human martial arts powers all from first person. there are guns but they quickly become useless lol

I would rather have my ideas be created and myself be uncredited with the original concept then for the game to never see the light of day. If it happened, i would always take pride in the fact that i came up with the idea, even if no one beleived it.

I'm not sure if it was good, but i remember enjoying a 3rd person dinosaur game. There was some sort of raptor you controlled, and you had rocket launchers on your shoulders. (which i don't think i ever used, i didn't know what button to press and i was too young and new to video games to find out) Basically you had to navigate the map fighting off other dinos for your precious dinosaur eggs. Except i didn't know what to do with the eggs, all i did was carry them around.
I've been trying to find the game again with no prevail.

I have never seen this, but it might have been used.
In a first person shooter. You can pick up a gun but not lose the gun you are carrying. What happens is that you just use the current clip in the gun you pick up. It's like when you pick up an enemy sword on Assassin's creed.

A "realistic" shooter with fun game play. If they can pull that off they'll be $50 richer than what they currently do.
