Unused TMNT Reboot Designs Reveal Classic Shredder - Update

I actually liked the design of the turtles in the recent film, they all had something cool going on visually. It neat how they all had their own accessories that they wore. Also why didnt they just use that last Shredder design where hes in the duster. That shit looks really, really good, even if it strays a bit from the source material

These designs are pretty bad-ass, the military Shredder is a little to 40K for my liking but Krang's suit looks better then the shaved gimp potato he used to ride around in the cartoon.

Damn, this Krang looks absolutely bad-ass, it actually looks like a functional war-machine.

Not too keen on the "Soldier Shredder". As someone pointed out, it looks kinda WH40K-ish.

This is going to be the stupidest nitpick ever, but why does krang have a nose?

As for the rest of the designs: I feel like it would have been a far more tolerable movie if they had actually used them. Although the shredder looks an awful lot like something michael bay would have a wet dream about rather than a ninja that fully weaponized his own armor. Looking at those designs, it's really hard to see where they got the actual stuff for the movie from.

WTF, these are actually good. Turtles still look off, but they're better, and the rest are really good. I would have gone to see this movie.

Classic Shredder looks awesome. Cyberpunk Shredder is pretty cool too, but save that for something different.

So... Had they been aliens, why would they had still resembled earth animals? Were they hybrids with pre-existing fauna or something?

Lose the nostrils on the Turtles and I think all of those designs would have been perfect. But no..

the lips though...I do not see why they need lips, they don't need to look "realistic"

Makes them look more relatable with human expressions?

Easier to animate?

That classic Shredder is giving me all sorts of nostalgia. I would have loved that over the weird Megatron-Shredder we got instead.

It's the type of look that makes me want to crack out the old SNES Turtles games again...
