Name: Adandra Elirith

Age: 39 in Elven years.

Species: Elf

Class: Magic Knight
Class Talent 1: Two-Handed Weapons
Class Talent 2: Blood Magic

Description: A cynical Elf, with a dark sense of humor that would make even the gods cringe and an ego that rivals that of most nobility. He lacks any form of manners, honor or chivalry, believing that all of those are nothing more than weaknesses that can easily be exploited. It should be no surprise that he fights dirty, often tripping opponents in combat and then striking at them while their on the ground.

The word "mercy" is absent in his vocabulary, as their have been multiple accounts of him killing surrendering soldiers and torturing men for information, often choosing to do it himself out of belief that those he's working with will go too easy on the captive. When torturing a foe, he will often use his Blood magic to cause the right amount of damage, enough to cause undescribable pain yet not enough to kill the prisoner.

Because of his unforgiving and unrelenting nature, he is regarded as being loose-cannon and mentally unstable, and is viewed as nothing more than a weapon by those he serves under.

Appearance: Tall and slender, even by Elven standards. He is well muscled, but is more built for agility rather than strenght, His hair is long, light blonde and normally worn down, combed so perfectly that not a single hair is out of place. His skin is pale and blemish free, save for a few cuts and scratches that have been received in previous conflicts. Blue eyed.

He is normally dressed in a set of ceremonial armor that has been passed down through the generations of his family.

I'm short for time, so I'm unable to finish the sheet at this moment, but it will most likely be done and proof-read either later tonight or tomorrow.

why is everyone so mean and brooding in this world? Or is there just really bad counselling when it comes to anger management...

Name: Thombur Ironhammer

Age: 32 in Dwarven years

Species: Dwarf

Class: Warrior

Class Talent 1: Two handed Weapons

Class Talent 2: Crossbow

Description: An orphan who was raised by a family of Dwarven nobles, he realized that the life of luxury was not for him. When he was young he ran off and trained at a military school to follow his dream, which is to become a great Dwarven Warrior. He is known by some as a force to be reckoned with, for he is very skilled with weapons such as battleaxes and hammers. Before his parents passed away, they taught him the neccesary skills to be a great blacksmith. With this skill at his side, he prefers to forge his own weaponry. He is very considerate and kind towards other races, despite Dwarven reputation.

Appearance: He appears much older than his actual age. He has a long dark brown beard that extends almost down to his waist, which is braided into two sections. He has milky blue eyes and tan skin. His hair goes down to the bottom of his neck in the back, and is fashioned into a small ponytail. He has very bushy eyebrows, and an aged face. He wears a chainmail tunic and leather gloves and boots, along with a green cloak.

(This RP sounds really cool! Im not too sure about how old Dwarves tend to be in this RP though. Oh, and Im not sure if it is too late to reserve, but I would like to if it isn't too late)

Well, it is meant to be sort of dark fantasy. Brooding kind of comes with the territory.

Blah :/

Name: Dezmor Glacier

Age: 15

Species: Human

Class: Spell Knight

Class Talent 1: Dual Weapons

Class Talent 2: Blood Magic

Description: When it came to stealing, Dezmor was your man, or rather boy, for the job. He loved the challenge, the stealth, the skill that came with thievery, and of course the money he gets from it. Dezmor was abandoned by his parents at the age of 8 when they discovered the darkness of his magic abilities. He was wandering around a large bustling city until he met the Koolies. A small band of children that came together for the sole reason to survive. They were all abandoned like Dezmor was. To survive they resorted to stealing food or anything else they can get there hands on. Dezmor followed suit and joined them, becoming the most influential for them. He quickly learned how to steal, fight, and be sneaky from the older kids. Soon, the small band of children became an underground community of young thieves, no longer stealing to survive but to fulfill their lust for greed and riches. Eventually Dezmor became the leader of this community, having the most spoils out of all of thieving cohorts and the most skill. He also enlisted fear into everyone with his use of blood magic, which he has not fully developed yet. His weapons consists of 4 slightly curved daggers that are sheathed at his hip.

Appearance: Dezmor is slender with an average height, the perfect height for sneaking. He has peach-colored skin and emerald green eyes. His hair is black with an infusion of dark blue streaks and barely goes below his neck. He wears simple dark blue or black cloth shirts and tightly fitted pants and custom made Tabi shoes. (ninja shoes)

Yeah, I know I fail :/

Name: Igg'wy "Iggy" Baerbeard.

Age: 47

Species: Dwarven

Class: Warrior

Class Talent 1: Two-handed weapons

Class Talent 2: Crossbow

Description: Considered a common dwarf for long, Igg'wy used to do everything other dwarves usually did; drinking started at a very young age, body hair erupted even sooner, and pipes were respected by him as much as was smithing. Even though in his training he never quite showed a particular talent - or any sort of ability - to use offensive, defensive or healing magic. But one goal he held clear; to be able to smith. Showing a great deal of strength hidden within him, revealing itself gradually as he aged, Igg'wy practised smithing with vigor every day, until the day he eventually achieved what the majority of dwarves did; to use magic to enhance smithing.
Not only did this event let him craft his own weapons and armor, but also due to his talent, earn a fortune from it. But life like this soon turned dull. Igg'wy knew the sort of magic he knew was something he practised and had gotten an acute ability in, but the true, raw strength of his body, and the satisfying usage of a good, sharp weapon was what he missed. Soon after, he started an adventuring lifestyle. He spent little time in his hometown, little did he meet his parents, and more hazy turned the memories of his previous life. Nowadays travels the land, having even lived in human cities for long periods of time.

Appearance: A typical dwarf, a bit pudgy, with a brown beard the size of three of his heads, though varying in size due to him grooming it. Thick ropes are used to create braids with his beard. These same are also tied around his foot, used to hold in place linen sheets wrapped around his feet meant to keep his feet warm. Also has long hair, covering a portion of the black cape he often wears. Wears wide, dark-brown pants. Wears an also-black tunic that goes ~40cm below his waist, kept around him with a wide leather belt.

Writing this sheet, I assumed we were in the typical fantasy setting of 'every other race lives longer than humans', including dwarves. ;)

Anyway, since our reason for searching for the "Relic" isn't mentioned, I tried to create a story that leaves really open what he could be doing before the RP starts.

Also, I have two questions. First, you mentioned in the original post that " Such idle fancies of magical creatures and Elven creatures is simply that of myth. So if this tale is truth, how did we forget it?"
I don't get it, how come our characters, who are searching for the Relic, then, can use magic and even some of the characters are Elves? How are those things 'idle fantasies'?

And second, what part do the deities play in all this?

Oh, and yeah, sorry for taking more than 'tomorrow' to create my sheet. Some...things have happened. Hope my reserve is still valid!

EDIT: So, yeah. When you think of my character, think of Gimli.

That would be telling!

Well, it gives everyone something to develop on. We may or may not extend on them, but players are free to. It also gives the setting a little more background.

not what i originally had in mind but there seems to be enough dark characters for my taste, so i went kinda neutral.
Name: Rowan Markett

Age: 27

Species: Human

Class: Spell Knight

Class Talent 1: Sword & Shield

Class Talent 2: Healer

Bio: Rowan is a mercenary and has been one since the age of 19, he helps out those that are willing to pay for his services and doesn't stop until the job is done, he learned how to fight from his father who was a distinguished knight captain in the king's army and died in battle when rowan was 16, his mother was an adept mage who taught him healing magic shortly before he left to find his fortune at the age of 18, he chose to become a mercenary because fighting was what he was good at.

At the age of 25 Rowan became interested in the lord of death, he sees that there is always unrest in this world and believes that peace can only be attained through death, thus his interest in its lord, over the years he has worked for numerous people, two nobles among them, earning him enough money to buy his current equipment.

Appearance: Rowan is 6'1" with dark brown hair and blue eyes, he wears plate armor (without a helmet) with a plain dark blue cloak, on his back he carries a plain kite shield and at his waist attached to a belt is his broadsword, he isn't especially well built or good looking.

this good enough? sorry if his background is a bit dull, i was never very creative at backstories, if you want a better name then think of one yourself, i'm not good with great sounding names.

lemme know if i'm in :)

Our characters are fairly poor and travel constantly on foot, so, no horses for us.

Aha! I know!
Well, I have my suspicions, but I won't tell, for the sake of spoiling it incase it is correct, and someone else doesn't/hasn't figured it out.

...I'm having a feeling of forboding. I know he's quite the busy with his classes, perhaps he asked for a temporary ban to resist temptation or something...

Hang on to your hats, I'll contact him via MSN.

Well, I'm kind of distressed. This is not the only RP he's involved in, you know. Anyway, I hope he has a good reason.

Yeah, Sparrow's unavailable for about a month. We're both terribly sorry, but this is unavoidable.

We hope to continue this in about one months, so if you'd be so kind to wait please do so. If not, we're sorry.
