Technically Dynasty Warriors 9, but their shift in focus and abundance of clone weapons has me very worried we're in for a second Dynasty Warriors 6 situation, I mean, I still had fun playing it, but not as much fun as I could have.

Bear in mind, I don't have a problem buying that Claire could survive Raccoon City, but if RE2 was released today, I could see people saying that RE2 went "SJW" on us (after all, you technically control three female characters and one male character).
I think the training is to just have Claire protect herself from thugs and such. Ada was an Agent of Corporate Espionage so she too may have some basic training.
Annette was an Umbrella scientist so she knows the biological monsters she makes so she has a gun to defend herself.
And Sherry was a completely helpless little girl, far younger than Ellie. And even than when she re-appeared in Resi 6, she grew up and had military training.
