Well I usually make my PC's last till the "next-gen" starts and I have no choice, so whenever that hits I'll be getting a new GPU. Right now I can run any game.

Dude, I beat Crysis and Crysis Warhead with an Acer Desktop (4400+, 2GB RAM, ATI-chipset Motherboard -- keep in mind that this is your standard desktop configuration, not intended for gaming or other strenuous activities) that I added a 3870 to, running with visuals about equal to Very High shaders at 1280x1024 and averaging around 25 FPS, which was a very playable game. Using just the preset options, the best I could run it at was a combination of medium with a few high settings, but by tweaking the game, I was able to milk out some incredible visuals. Granted, I did tweak the game a fair bit, and granted, it did run unacceptably slow on the stock High setting, but in the end, I got a playable experience that looked better than the preset High from just an hour or two of tweaking the engine to cater to my computer's strengths. By all accounts, that's a worthwhile investment of time that saved me the need to upgrade just to play Crysis on high.Unknower said:Maybe Crysis 2. Probably only to be able to play it on high though.
