as strong as my health and shields are a turret will still make mincemeat out of me. Hopefully that's something they'll fix in the full release.

Although there's always the chance that turrets don't need any change and I'm just being a moan because they tear me apart. ^_^
Oh! Oh! Dealing with turrets is easy once you know the trick! Let me share! :-D
First you need to know where they are so you don't accidentally step next to them and get turned to sheddar, that done you place yourself in cover so you have a shot at it. Now fast shooting guns like smg's and assault rifles should be used against its shields, or if you have it, overload is God. Then slow shooting guns like pistols and snipers for its armour, or incinerate or similar if you have it. (Sorry, I don't mean to sound condescending, but it's good to at least mention the basics in case someone doesn't know them.)
Now the thing with turrets is that they do a lot of damage, right? Well yes, but they are also predictable in how they shoot.
When you're firing away at it it'll start shooting, then you go into cover and let it continue to shoot...it will do so for a while and then stop to, as I figure, to reload, during that time you're free to start tearing away at it again.
Now I'm not sure...but it seems as if hitting the barrel and/or the red lights at its front does a little more damage to it, as if it is it's 'head'...
It's also interesting to note that it's semi-slow in turning, I've seen some vanguards and infiltrators use this to their advantage to appear right behind it and shoot it up up close...though I find it too risky you might want to try that if it's more your style.

Now what I want to see is a Quarian infiltrator using sabotage on one of those and watch it tear the engineer placing it to shreds along with a few of his buddies...

I don't wanna be chicken little or anything, but who can see this happening about a month after the full game drops?

"Now, those who don't want to wait for random item drops can purchase the character / weapon of their choice for the low low price of US$4.99 800 Bison Dollars each."
I actually wouldn't mind that. It allows those who want something now a cheatyface way to get it, and the rest of us can stand around being manly. Everyone wins!

Am I the only one having trouble with disconnects and such on the PC version? I tried it for the first time tonight and was constantly getting dropped from games even though my connection is more than fine. Hell, not 5 minutes ago I got dropped from the servers right when we were all at the extraction point, which makes me mad because I had earned tons of money and EXP that round.

I actually did noticed the darkness on the Xbox version, but that can be remedied if it's a problem. The only other thing I might say is animation on the PC is a smidge smoother during cutscenes, possibly.
Really? Because in my PC demo the cutscenes had a nasty habit of stuttering, I wrote it off as another Bioware demo (they can be a bit...unstable compared to the final product) but now I'm worried...

Sorry for the double post, but I want to make sure anthony sees this.

What's your set up for your Krogan? I'm enjoying my human soldier, but I feel a little squishy so I'm thinking maybe I can set up some kind of sniper character that can take a few shots before folding.
Apology not accepted! ;-)

Anyway, if you want a sturdy sniping character, then look no further then the Turians! They're tougher than humans, if a bit less mobile, so they're great for setting up a firing position. My Turian sentinel for one has upgraded his 'Turian veteran' skill so he does 20% more damage with headshots, and with overload you can scope, overload a Centurion or Nemesis shields and then headshot them dead in moments. (warp isn't too shabby either, especially if someone jumps you, the tech armour is more for someone in the thick of fighting though)
I don't have the Turian soldier, so I haven't been able to try him, but one of his skills is 'marksman'...so I'm going to guess he's good at sniping too... :p
*sigh* Damn you ME3, you give me so many possibilities. Fuck, that's not an ME3 thing, that's a Bioware thing. I'm already looking at all the different class/race combos. Hell, even the Krogan Soldier, I'm seeing where instead of being a meleeish tank, he can be an anti-armor and semi anti-shields specialist. Which is something I'd really want to do since it seems I need more help on the difficult armored enemies than I do on swarms of lesser normal enemies.
Ah, missed this...yes that's an interesting idea. The Krogan doesn't really get any bonuses to weapon damage (well...not large ones anyway) but on the other hand he has a lot of shields and health, meaning you can outlast the tougher enemies. So perhaps a scoped Mattock and a viper sniper rifle would work? Use mattock to strip the enemy shields and then drop carnage on them? And as Anthony said, use the sniper rifle for Guardians?

Totally agree with you.Warp with Asari adept is unbelievably fun not only is it actually powerful the sound effects and visuals that go with it make it seem even better and stasis is pretty damn funny if you pick your moment.
Dude, Stasis bubble, with a 33% chance to use another skill straight afterwards. Lets you catch 3 or so enemies at once and then blow them up with a warp.

I have some incredibly bad luck with getting new races. I've only gotten two new races out of the many, many hours I've played the demo. The Krogan soldier, who, isn't bad but I don't really like him much. I also got the Turian Sentinel, who is pretty awesome so far.

I like the randomness of the packs, just not that it's so difficult to get a new race.

I love the gameplay and the teamwork, although I have to try and figure how to hook up a headset or get one.

The only complaint I have is that I've been disconnected quite a few times, once about 10 seconds before extraction! I still haven't managed to finish an entire match. That said, I hope that's something that will be resolved on the main release.

Will you be glad to know then that the unlocks will be less random, and therefore it'll be easier to unlock new races, in the final version? :)

And damn right the Turian Sentinel is awesome! :-D

why am I not surprised about the response: OMG TROLL!!!

Put it to rest, wont you. It's such donkey piss. I dismiss any of your 'arguments' because it is so packed to the brim with fanaticism, it's like Bioware has their own special cult of gamers.

When it comes to multiplayer there isn't much else to say other than my opinion. When the other side is just going off about HOW SHINY AND SPECIAL IT IS AND OMG BIOWARE!! Do you guys honestly expect me to take that seriously? You guys are acting like a bunch of Justin Bieber fangirls at his concert. I can't take you seriously when the post is overflowing with bioware buttkiss. This is not a fault of mine, it's a fault of yours.

Finally, I already listed why I dislike the mulitplayer; generic, boring. You have to run around the whole freaking map looking for enemies. What is this? Hide and fucking seek? I thought this was horde mode, it feels like i'm playing peek-a-boo with Cerberus.

Plus dont get me started on crappy origins service. It sucks.
In your very first post here you said that bioware fans opinions dont matter.

As in you said that a people that like a certain thing do not have the right to the same amount of freedom of speech as you.

Logical conclusion = You are a cocksucker.
That is not what I said at all. There's a difference between Bioware Fans and Bioware FANBOYS.
Fanboys are those people over at BSN that defend everything Bioware does. Bioware could unleash a nuclear bomb and aslong as it doesn't hit them, the fanboys will defend it.

Lastly, your second sentence is completely nonsensical. I didn't say "you're a fanboy so don't speak". I said and i'm parphrasing here "you're a fanboy so you shouldn't speak" Huge bloody difference here. One implies freedom of speech is determined by how fanatical you are, the other believes fanboys have nothing of value to share, so thus their opinion should be void.
You are still implying that these fanboys opinion matters less then yours.

You are still trampling on their freedom of speech.

Logical conclusion = you are still a cocksucker.
I don't know how you keep coming to this conclusion. Slow down a second. I don't care IF they use their freedom of speech. I just think they are idiots.

And ofcourse I think my opinion matters more. Do you honestly think I go through life giving every opinion equal footing? Don't be absurd.
You think they're idiots.

They think you're a troll.

Everyone is happy! ^_^

Also, if you think less of other peoples opinions then what the hell are you doing here in the first place?

I have to agree. I was in the "no multiplayer in my me3" camp prior to the demo but I am extremely surprised by how fun it is. Can't wait to see what its like on release.
Yeah, same, but the multi is nicely balanced; all players feel and are necessary, and it ust feels like an expansive mini campaign.

Bioware have finally nailed the "unique feature" aspect of ME.
