"This has struck a chord w/ us and we've contacted him directly to make it right."

Struck a chord? Oh, now they're making damn jokes.

Goes to show you can truly make a country song out of [/b]anything[/b]! Good for him, typical companies are resistant until someone gives them a bad name, then they are super apologetic.

Great to see he gets compensation, although at this point I can't help but to think it is just to besmirch the companies name, not as though there is anything wrong with that.

Wow. Not just was that possibly the greatest revenge plot ever, but I thought of Sons Of Maxwell as a good band. I'll need to look out for them.

Good to see art sticking it to the man again.

Best part is that the singer told United to donate the money to charity. Makes the band look even better, and I can just imagine the look on the CEO's face once they realized they won't be able to buy his silence. >=)

Update: Well, well, well. This might have done something after all. A post to the official United Airlines Twitter indicates [http://twitter.com/UnitedAirlines/status/2522271993] that the airline will be attempting to recompense Carroll for his loss: "This has struck a chord w/ us and we've contacted him directly to make it right."
No pun intended?

Hmmm. I guess thats kind of cool. Who in their right minds would fly United in the first place?

I saw this video a while ago. As a fellow guitar player I sympathze with them. And my mom and her husband just came back from a trip and they were complaining about how the United people were just throwing the luggage around with reckless abandon. Thats really unfortunate. Somthing should be done.

Good for you, Dave.
United buckles way to easily, now thanks to them every time one of their employees pisses someone off, we're going to have to deal with another damned viral video! This isn't even that good for gods sake!

Wow. I think United just suffered from epic burns. That's some bad PR right there.

I really liked the form of revenge. Catchy tune too. "United breaks guitarrs"

Good thing they are finally compensating him. Still I never put anything breakable in luggage. Unfortunately that's not always the case and I usually fear the entire flight that something broke/got lost.
