Problem with Musk calling Trump a pedofile and friend of Epstein is that this was open knowledge. We all knew this during the election, and so did he. Musk was fine with that until he and Trump had a falling out. Musk is fine with pedofilic billionaires and given what a complete freak he is I'd not be surprised to hear news he partakes in it.

I'm not sure either are disciplined enough for that. They're such a bunch of mentally ill freaks that them blowing up on each other over real and imagined slights is just as likely as it being some plot. Though for what its worth their puppetmasters might indeed egg this behavior on to distract from their own conduct.

The american electorate as a whole should have rejected Trump over this long ago but they(even the moderates) maliciously refused to do it. Just as they refused to do it after the coup, or after he refused to do his duty during covid. He should never have been a viable candidate after his first disaster term but he was. It's to both Musk's and Thiel's financial, personal, and political benefit if Trump were to go away and be replaced by Vance. Vance is organizationally competent, and understands the value of shutting the fuck up when you're doing the dirty, and will have none of the media scrutiny Trump faces.

At the same time it's very funny to see the fallout of the inevitable point where the natural repulsion of two colossal narcissist egos finally overcame the forces that temoprarily held them together, there's something about it I also find depressing. The US presidency is the highest office in the planet. Is this sort of chaotic soap opera the best our species can do? Is this our natural way of being? If so, maybe we should go extinct.
Pope was the highest office on the planet for a good deal of history and look at some of the bullshit that came out of that. Can we do better? Yes. And the first step to get there is not to give offices, titles and positions any more respect than they reserve.
