Picking the 20 or 30 question exam would probably be best, simply because the British one was 25-ish. (I've done a few different states and all the questions look pretty much the same, so it really doesn't matter which you pick). Just for clarities sake, the real exam is about 100 questions long.

I got 18/20. Stupid Eisenhower...messing up my score.

I did the 50 question one for Georgia and got 70%. 35 out of 50 I think...I only needed 60% to pass although, technically, I don't need any points to pass since I was born here. Hell, the farthest away I've been from where I was born (Maryland) was just the Virgin Islands. I need to travel more...

I got a 19/20.

Of course, people that are born here don't need to know anything, they can be completely ignorant and still be considered "citizens".

28/30.
I had no clue what the 2 Cabinet level positions were, and I didn't know Ben Franklin was a mailman. Learn something new everyday.

Strange how this topic is suddenly popular today...I took the test from the other thread and just finished failing the UK one.

Looks like the US threads are in response to the UK one, which was in response to recent updates to their test. Perfectly logical.

20) What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?
A. the United States
B. the President
C. the country
D. the people of the United States

Uh... what?

I got 20/20, then went back and tried C for that last one which is apparently wrong. So it's saying that the United States isn't the country we pledge allegiance to.

I chose New York and 20 questions. 75% yo! ... Ahem. Sorry.

But really, those were some easy questions. If I'd slowed down and thought about it more I probably would have gotten at least 80-85% right. The UK one was way harder. Or I might know way more about the US than I should for someone who doesn't live there...

EDIT:

Just did North Dakota 20 questions, and got the same result. Eerie!

UK Citizen here... I passed this test with 17/20 and not the UK one (11/24). Luckily I think this one is easier otherwise I'd feel like a right traitor to my country now. If I get deported due to my low UK test score I guess I know where I'll be going next :)

I'm American and I got 21/30 (70%) so I passed. However, one question I did not like was "Name the U.S. war between the North and the South" - the answers were along the line of 'war between north and south', 'north-south war', etc. Most people call it The Civil War.

15/20 75% so a pass. Did the New York test, as good as any I suppose. Though the recommendation states I need more practice, yet I passed. That?s seems a little odd.

That was far easier than the British Test, questions were far more relevant as well. Also good to know that the US Citizenship Test is passable, no intentions of becoming a citizen of the US but never know what the future may hold (I'm British).
