For me and everyone else waiting for it's release in the States, our prayers for mother fucking space Nazis are here.

http://www.ironsky.net/site/film/releasedates/

Only for the people in Los Angeles, because it is sold out in it's other 2 first day cities. Broader screenings will take place in mid August. find out here [http://www.tugg.com/titles/iron-sky?region=global&state=upcoming] if there are any screenings of Iron Sky in your area. Or state, depending on how much you want to see it.

You guys are only just getting it? Damn, I saw this months ago. Expect exactly what you would from a mid budget story about moon Nazis, hilarity.

Eh, it's alright. The concept is better than the movie, but it's a decent watch.

Us Brits got it a little while ago.

It was... um.. different.

You should also see this other sci fi nazi movie, it's called the '5th Reich' or something, I can't remember the number.

I thought you got it at the same point everyone else did. I mean, I got it on DVD about a month ago and that was just in a random branch of HMV rather than grabbing it the instant it came out.

Just so you know it's sense of humour is pretty schizophrenic and it's waaay more camp than I expected, but you should still get a chuckle or two out of it. At the very least the scenes in the UN are good for a laugh.

This was released already? WTF?!? Wow, that was low-profile. I'll have to see about getting this on DVD.

Wow. You're only getting it now? I remember it being out in Sweden the day after my birthday... that's in April. Strange to have it not be us for once that gets a movie late. Well okay, we still get japanese movies decades late. Litteraly. I saw Mononoke in the cinema last year.

It's worth it just for the sake of being able to say "I just watched an Australian-Finnish-German co-production about Nazis on the Moon".

Other than that... It's ok. Nothing spectacular, but ok.

It's not out over there?
Hehe, seems like justice, since we seem to get everything else later than you.
What i really liked about the film was that they had an original version were the nazis were talking german and the americans were talking english. Adds quite a bit of athmosphere.

Splendid! To the rigid airship, Horatio! Fetch me my driving duster and googles. We must make to the local vaudeville projector show post-haste, lest those damnable rail barons take all the box seats!
