Where did your username come from? Does it symbolize something? Does it describe who you are? Is it just a random mess of letters and numbers? For example, my username isn't too creative. I was just sitting around thinking and then it hit me, "Hmm... I'm a person. And I'm also a dude." And then I started to think, and after a few seconds of wracking my brain I came up with "Person Dude". And that's how my username came to be. But how did yours?

I think I came up with the name for a stick character in fifth grade, and it just sounded so cool that I've kept it ever since.

It has been my name since the day I strolled into the internet.

Just made it up from a mixture of astrological lore (no, I don't believe in astrology), cool animals, and wonky spelling (without over-doing it, mind).

2 of my internet personas mashed into one.

Alternatively, the 2 first and last letters of the alphabet.

I have no clue, I guess I just made it up on the spot.

This also isn't my only account with this name, it's also my Steam, YouTube and PSN name.

I like pie....

Someone thought of it when I was around 7 or 8 and I'm too afraid of migrating to something new because I feel like something will get lost in transition.

Here we go again. I'd find the exact quote from the Forum game about this but I'll explain it here I guess.

Red is part of my last name, Lin part of my first. 5 is my favorite number. (Birthday, easy to multiply, date joined the Escapist, etc)

That is it.

Redlin5 is pretty easy to remember and I got it without a problem. I could have just gotten Redlin but I like 5 dammit!

I made up the name Keela when I was a little kid, around six or so. I've kept it for most forms of media requiring a username since then, although I changed my Xbox gamertag.

Then I realized that I had the same name as the Quarian god, and I knew that Mass Effect and I were meant to be.

It's my real first name, as you'll see if you visit my profile and any of my linked accounts like Facebook or whatever. Next question please!

I had a habit of reviewing things in high school whether it was a game, or movie, or even a person. Some friends said I was too much of a critic and while I was hanging out on youtube one day I decided to make a backup account. After thinking about it for a while I stuck with World Critic. Unfortunately in the early days of that account I mostly trolled at people I didn't like so that I could say what I wanted without drawing attention to my main account. After a short internet argument with the Youtuber called The Archfiend, I stopped trolling and now mostly use the name on this site.

I've used this name for a good long while now, it actually originated on the Nickelodeon site, or rather I first used it on the Nickelodeon site.
It symbolizes my love for the animal that makes up a third of my name, I had a few of 'em for pets.

And The Race part comes from the old "Life's a rat race" saying. And 123 is just 123.

I play bass, and I play drums... it seemed logical enough to me.

However, you have no idea how many people seem convinced that it's bass (the fish) instead of bass (the term for something of a low frequency). It just strikes me as silly how often people totally mispronounce what seems to be a pretty simple concept.
