I felt that it described my personality best. I've always been kind of an, "Ah shit, the world's ending...hey look, free ice cream!" kinda guy. I also have an enduring love of contradictions.
My username here is actually based on my original Xbox Live Gamertag. Granted, I wish I thought it through before I accepted it, but I didn't believe that I would be around here that often. I couldn't have been more off honestly.
My new Live Gamertag has been changed to ThexBostonxTap, a name I prefer a lot more without the Xs, but that is what happens when you're too lazy to supervise your brother while he changes it.
It's a reference to the amazing TV show, LOST.(Yes, it must be capitalized) More specifically, it was the codename given to the season 4 finale, by the producers of the show. The codename for the season 3 finale is Snake in The Mailbox, because it's surprising.
i think my friends brother said something about a dynamic melon... and i changed melon to cantelope, and merged the words.
plus, its like "cantelope in motion"
Ignatz Zwakh is the protagonist of the Dead trilogy, a hyper-sexual cyberpunk tale written by Richard Calder. It's MAD awesome, hence my adopting the characters name as my Escapist moniker.
I'm often forgotten and/or ignored when discussions pop up, in real life and on forums. So, I'm Easily Forgotten. I was going to say Forgettable, but people always seem to remember me way later on.
Not to mention, it's quite an odd thing to introduce yourself as. "Hi, I'm easily forgotten." "Uh... ok?"
My brother actually came up with mine. We just got XboxLive and we couldn't think of a good Gamertag and he just randomly punched in DLlama. I ended up playing more than he did, so I just took the name for myself.
I was reading the book series at the time I decided to get my hotmail account and due to my lack of creativity and my constant paranoia I chose this name to represent myself. And I've been using it everywhere ever since.
I once played a Mage in a game of Mage: The Ascension named Leonardo DiMono. I played him extremely well. Then I kept it. There were some people at University who didn't know my last name, and thought my real name was Chris Dimono. That amused me.
