People...you don't know how excited I am for this game.
I was literally F5-Key blogs/twitters/new sites all morning/night just to find something new each day I wake up from my bed.
You may call this obsession...yes and I am glad, I am.
Because today is the day the Developers I followed all the time, announced at last the day I can play the game! My brain and body literally get shocked by pleaser and excitment. my hairs from all over my body become like nails, I yelled with pleaser while I am in my workplace [still I am] and didn't cared.

The game is on sale June 21

.......the same day Mighty No. 9 coming....BUT I CARE MORE FOR MY WAIFUS IN VA-11 HALL-A!!!!

For discussion I want you to tell me if you are excited like me for this game as well? You are hardcore like me or just fan of Cyberpunk Theme game and you want to try it for yourself? Or you just want to see Jim Sterling Cameo?

For the people who also following the updates of the game, I can confirm a new gameplay aspect which we will have the luck to enjoy: You can visit the homes/apartments of your customers or your fellow employees. You can visit the house of the talking Corgi!!!!! FFffffFFFffffffff******CkYEAH!!!!!!

I mean the last time I saw it, it look like a bar simulation in retro graphic and soundtrack. Now it look like it expanded on that? Since the trailer it look like you can customize a person living quater and awell doing activity with that person?

Ok, here I go:
To give you the basics, you are as you are awared already a Bartender who create different kind of drinks for many different kind of customers who will come to the Bar "Valhalla". The different kind of substances you use to create your drinks are all fictional.
Making a drink for a customer mean two things: You make the drink exactly the customer he/she/it/? wants or you don't. You may think making other drink for the customer is wrong, but in reality you just follow a different path of dialog/story your customer want to tell you or just making him/her/its/? get really angry with you. So it is like a Visual Novel, but the choices you can make in your "dialog" are made only by serving drinks.
An example is serving a drink to a Limo Driver who you meet in Prologue game [you can play it immediately if you pre-ordered]. If you serve him a drink without alcohol, everything will be OK......the opposite happens if you serve something else.
Some decisions maybe will be also results of different kind of news you will read in the newspaper you receive everyday.
You can also change the music of the Bar and the channels of your TV. The music is Superb btw.

Base of how good you are as a bartender, your Boss give you also more money so you can spend them for making your apartment more beautiful I guess. From what I know, you can buy a console a play mini games like a 2D Shrmup game.
Also it seems you can visit or have a guest to your apartment to keep you company while you are drinking. Again, base of how much alcohol you and your companion will drink, the dialog will change.

Final but not least, it seems you can use a specific recipe for a drink you take by playing "Read Only Memory"...for something. I hope at least is cool!

It is a cool game and you shall definitely play it. I confess near the end I am very sure you will get irritated because a specific thing, but other than that, great game.

I actually bumped into this a long time ago, I remembered I was interested enough that I bookmarked the blog but I forgot about it after I formatted my PC, and after a while I kind of assumed it had been Read Only Memories that I had seen (Pretty damn good game), anyway looks cool I'll keep my eye on it.

That actually looks really interesting. Although I'm not a big fan of anime style that looks bearable, plus I AM a big fan of the Cyberpunk setting and the unique approach to it this game seems to take.

Dammit, I'm working on a gamemaker bartending game with heavy dialogue options. Now if I finish it, I will just be accused of copying this idea
It wasn't cyberpunk but the idea of choosing to cut someone off and deciding who you choose to not serve played heavily.

Maybe I should just scrap it even though I really liked the story so far. If an idea seems similar everyone just assumes copying instead of independent inspiration. Poor Liebniz.

I think in VA-11-Hall-A game at the early days of the development, it had a gameplay mechanic which you could choose who you will serve first or later. But I think this idea get scrapped. I hope of course I am wrong, but I am not holding my breath for it.
But the most important question I have to you...oh my GOD please tell me more about the game you create!!! I am very excited to play a similar game.
Btw, you don't copy the game, because other games did this as well. I created a whole List with Cook/Drink Theme around them. Here are the games which are Bar simulators:

I actually planning to played it now on Saturday (I got three days off work now). Also I am most likely to buy VA-11-Hall now to having R O M as a cameo in the game aswell (assuming it's not super expensive but I doubt it).

As I said, in Read Only Memories you find a recipe of a drink which you can make in VA-11-Hall game.
I bought the game for 5 dollars in the early days of pre-order. Now I think it will be at 15 dollars. Still good price.
I think the only known Cameos in VA-11-Hall from Read Only Memory game [for now] is 2:
